Fleksibilitas kepemilikan kucing adalah salah satu alasan mengapa orang menikmatipersahabatan kucing. Kucing merupakan hewan peliharaan yang baik karena memiliki bentuk tubuh, warna bulu dan pola yang beragam. Saat ini ada berbagai jenis kucing yang dipelihara, baik ras murni maupun campuran. Ras adalah sekelompok kucing terkait yang memiliki konformasi unik, pola, panjang dan jenis bulu, parameter warna, dan temperamen, dan sering kali berasal dari wilayah geografis tertentu. Ras adalah kucing dengan pedigree. Karena pedigree ini, dan karena kucing tersebut adalah anggota dari ras yang diakui, kucing tersebut dapat didaftarkan ke asosiasi kucing mana pun yang mengakui ras tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji morfologi anatomi kucing domestik (Felis catus) dan memperoleh informasi mengenai ciri-ciri seperti konformasi, badan, kepala, telinga, ekor, dan perilaku serta perawatannya. Tujuan dari studi retrospektif ini dilakukan dengan membandingkan berbagai temuan literatur dari berbagai buku dan jurnal tentang aspek kontekstual anatomi morfologi kucing domestik pada berbagai ras dan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik unik dari masing-masing ras. Keanekaragaman morfologi kucing domestik disebabkan oleh perkawinan silang antar ras kucing yang berbeda untuk menghasilkan ras baru atau kucing ras. Oleh karena itu, keragaman ini sangat berharga bagi orang-orang yang mencintai, memiliki, membiakkan dan mempelajari kucing.

The versatility of cat ownership is one reason why people enjoy feline companionship. Cats make great pets as they having the form of body, coat colors and patterns that diverse. Nowadays, there are various breed of a cat that maintained, good race pure or a mixture. A breed is a group of related felines that share a unique conformation, pattern, coat length and type, color parameters, and temperament, and often come from a particular geographic region. A purebred is a feline with a pedigree. Because of this pedigree, and because the cat is a member of a recognized breed, the cat can be registered with any of the cat associations that recognize the breed. This study aims to review the morphology anatomical of domestic cat (Felis catus) and gain information on characteristics such as its points conformation, body, head, ears, and embrace their behaviour and grooming care. Hence the purpose of this retrospective study is done by comparing various literature findings from multiple books and journals on the contextual aspect of morphology anatomy of domestic cat in various breed and to identify the unique characteristics of each breed. Morphological diversity of domestic cats is caused by cross-breeding between different cat breed to produce new or cat breed. Therefore, these diversity are valuable to people who love, own, breed and study cats.
