Analisis Implementasi Praktik Devops CI/CD Menggunakan Jenkins

DevOps adalah metodologi baru yang menyatukan tim pengembang dan tim operasi untuk mengintegrasikan individu, proses, dan teknologi secara erat untuk biaya pengiriman perangkat lunak otomatis yang gesit, skalabel, dan hemat biaya. Saat ini, dengan berkembangnya proses agile development, proses pengembangan dapat berjalan lebih cepat dan interaktif. Continuous Integration dan Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) adalah metode yang digunakan dalam agile development untuk mengotomatisasi dan mempercepat proses membangun, menguji, dan memvalidasi layanan. Untuk mendukung dan mempermudah semua proses development dan deployment, dibutuhkan beberapa metode seperti containerized dan automation CI/CD. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan pengujian terhadap kinerja dari web aplikasi sederhana yang telah dibuat. Selain itu, pada penelitian ini dilakukan sebuah DevOps Practice yang meliputi process integration, deployement, dan testing secara otamatis yang menggunakan tools bernama Jenkins. Tools tersebut merupakan open source automation server untuk membantu proses Continuous Integration dan Continuous Deployment . Tools ini juga didukung berbagai alat manajemen konfigurasi. Jenkins dilengkapi dengan berbagai plugin yang bersifat open source yang dapat digunakan untuk mempermudah dan membantu proses otomasi CI/CD dan testing. Harapannya proses otomasi untuk pengujian kinerja CI/CD pada penelitian ini dapat dilakukan secara otomatis dan mengurangi peran manusia dalam pengujian. Implementasi CI/CD dalam uji kinerja membuat proses pengujian terintegrasi, otomatis, dan dapat dijalankan secara berkala.

DevOps is a new methodology that brings together development teams and operations teams to tightly integrate individuals, processes, and technology for agile, scalable, and cost- effective automated software delivery costs. Today, with the development of agile development processes, the development process can run faster and iteratively. Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) are methods used in agile development to automate and speed up the process of building, testing, and validating services. To support and simplify all the development and deployment processes, several methods such as containerized and CI/CD automation are needed. In this research, we will test the performance of a simple web application that has been created. In addition, in this research, a DevOps Practice is carried out where the integration, deployment, and testing processes are carried out automatically using a tool called Jenkins which is an open-source automation server to assist the Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment process, these tools are also supported by various configuration management tools. Jenkins is equipped with various open-source plugins that can be used to simplify and assist CI/CD automation and testing processes. It is hoped that the automation process for CI/CD performance testing in this research can be done automatically and reduce the role of humans in testing. The implementation of CI/CD in performance testing makes the testing process integrated, automated, and can be run on a regular basis.
