Peranan pemimpin kelompok tani dalam proses adopsi dan difusi teknologi PHT padi di Kecamatan Kepanjen Kabupaten Malang

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui peranan pemimpin kelompok tani dalam proses adopsi dan difusi teknologi PHT pada usahatani padi, 2) mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi adopsi teknologi PHT pada usahatani padi dan 3) mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengharuhi difusi teknologi PHT pada usahatani padi. Metode dasar yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analisis.. Data terdiri atas data primer dan data sekunder.. Jumlah responden sebanyak 90 petani yang terdiri dari 45 petani SL-PHT dan 45 petani non SL-PHT yang diambil secara random. Untuk melihat peranan pemimpin kelompok tani dalam proses adopsi dan difusi teknologi PHT padi dilakukan dengan scoring dilanjutkan dengan uji proporsi. Untuk mengetahui Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi adopsi dan difusi teknologi PHT padi dilakukan estimasi model regresi linier berganda dengan metode ordinary least square (OLS) dan selanjutnya dilakukan analisis jalur untuk mengetahui seberapa besar masing-masing variabel independen menjelaskan besarnya pengaruh terhadap variabel dependen dan hubungan antara variabel independen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peranan pemimpin kelompok tani di daerah penelitian masih rendah. Hal ini terlihat dari rendahnya adaposi dan difusi teknologi PHT oleh petani SL-PHT maupun petani non SL-PHT. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa sikap petani, motovasi kerja dan peranan pemimpin kelompok tani berpengaruh nyata terhadap adaopsi teknologi PHT sedangkan faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap difusi teknologi PHT padi adalah respon petani dan sifat kosmopolitan. Hasil analisis jalur menunjukkan bahwa peranan pemimpin kelompok tani mempunyai pengaruh yang cukup besar menjelaskan terhadap adopsi teknologi PHT padi. Dalam difusi teklnologi PHT padi yang mempunyai pengaruh cukup besar menjelaskan adalah sifat komopolitan

This research was intended 1) to know the role of farmer group leaders in the processing of adoption and PHT tecnology diffusion in the rice farming, 2) to know factors influencing adoption of PHT tecnology on the rice farming, 3) to know factors influencing diffusion of PHT tecnology on the rice farming. The basic method used in this research was the descriptive analysis method. Data consisted of primary and secondary data. There were 90 respondents of farmers consisting 45 SL-PHT and 45 non SLPHT farmers sampled randomly. To know the role of farmer group leaders in the processing of adoption and diffusion of PHT tecnology of rice was taken by scoring and continued by proportion test. To know the factors influencing adoption and diffusion of PHT tecnology of rice the estimation of multiple linear regression models with method of ordinary least square (OLS) were done and then to know the influence of each independent variables to dependent variable and the relation between independent variable we did the path analysis. The research results showed that the role of farmer group leaders in the reseach area was still low. It was shown by the low adoption and PHT tecnology diffusion of SL-PHT and non SL-PHT farmers. The regression results showed that the farmer attitude, work motivation and the role of farmer group leaders giving real influence on PHT tecnology adoption, however the factors influencing on rice PHT tecnology diffusion were farmers respond and their cosmopolitan. The result of the path analysis showed that the attitude of farmers had great influence on describing the adoption of PHT tecnology of rice. The great influence on the PHT tecnology of rice was their cosmopolitan
