A Study of Content Categories and Content Making Process on Belajardeen's Instagram in Order to Fulfill the Target Market Needs

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konten Instagram Belajardeen, target market audiens Belajardeen, kategori konten yang dikembangkan dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhan audience Belajardeen, serta proses pembuatan konten di Instagram Belajardeen. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara online dengan CEO dan Supervisor Belajardeen, serta studi pustaka melalui e-Book, jurnal, media massa serta media sosial. PT Belajardeen Cerdaskan Bangsa dengan nama merek Belajardeen adalah perusahaan ed-tech Islami yang menyediakan informasi terkait universitas di negara-negara Timur Tengah dan menyediakan materi terkait pengetahuan Islam di aplikasi selulernya. Sebagai perusahaan ed-tech yang juga hadir secara online di media sosial, Belajardeen fokus menyediakan produk dan layanannya melalui akun media sosial khususnya Instagram. Selain itu, implementasi proses pembuatan konten di Belajardeen didasarkan pada alur kerja konten media sosial di Belajardeen. Dengan demikian, proses pembuatan konten yang dimaksud ini meliputi brainstorming dan penelitian, diskusi, penulisan, pelaporan dan evaluasi konten, desain, dan penerbitan. Hasil dari proses pembuatan konten ini menghasilkan pengembangan kategori konten pada Belajardeen, yaitu konten informasi, konten pendidikan, konten promosi, dan konten hiburan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas konten media sosial di Belajardeen.

This study describes the overview of Belajardeen Instagram content, the target market audience of Belajardeen, the developed content categories in order to fulfill Belajardeen's audience needs, and the content making process on Belajardeen Instagram. The methods of data collection were carried out by doing observation, online interviews with the CEO and Supervisor of Belajardeen, and literature studies through e-Books, journals, mass media as well as social media. PT Belajardeen Cerdaskan Bangsa under the brand name of Belajardeen is an Islamic ed-tech company which provides insightful information related to universities in Middle East countries and provides Islamic knowledge-related materials on its mobile apps. As an ed-tech company who also have the online presence on social media, Belajardeen focuses on providing its products and services through the social media account, specifically, Instagram. Moreover, the implementation of the content making process on Belajardeen is based on its social media content workflow on Belajardeen. Thus, the content making process includes brainstorming and research, discussing, writing, reporting and content evaluation, design, and publishing. The results during this content making process generate the development of content categories on Belajardeen which are informational content, educational content, promotional content, and entertainment content. This study result is expected to improve the quality of social media content on Belajardeen.
