PERBEDAAN KECEMASAN PADA MAHASISWA ANGKATAN TAHUN 2018 DAN 2019 PROGRAM STUDI S1 KEDOKTERAN FK-KMK UNIVERSITAS GADJAH MADA

Latar belakang: Kecemasan merupakan kondisi dimana seseorang mengalami kekhawatiran akan suatu kejadian yang tidak menyenangkan akan terjadi di masa depan. Mahasiswa kedokteran memiliki prevalensi tinggi kejadian kecemasan. Hal ini dapat dipicu oleh beberapa faktor seperti adaptasi awal pada masa perkuliahan, masalah ekonomi, pemahaman tentang ujian, dan karier di masa depan. Tujuan penelitian: Mengetahui perbedaan tingkat kecemasan pada mahasiswa angkatan tahun 2018 dan 2019 Program Studi S1 Kedokteran Fakultas Kedokteran, Kesehatan Masyarakat, Dan Keperawatan Universitas Gadjah Mada. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang menggunakan metode studi analitik observasional dengan rancangan cross sectional yang akan membandingkan tingkat kecemasan pada mahasiswa angkatan tahun 2018 dan 2019 Program Studi S1 Kedokteran Fakultas Kedokteran, Kesehatan Masyarakat, Dan Keperawatan Universitas Gadjah Mada. Tingkat kecemasan responden diukur dengan kuesioner General Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7). Analisis data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan metode Mann-Whitney Test. Hasil: Dari total 109 responden mayoritas memiliki tingkat kecemasan ringan dengan jumlah 45 orang (41%), kemudian disusul dengan tingkat kecemasan sedang dengan jumlah 33 orang (30%), tingkat kecemasan minimal dengan jumlah 18 orang (17%), dan tingkat kecemasan berat dengan jumlah 13 orang (12%). Setelah dilakukan analisis menggunakan Mann-Whitney Test antara skor GAD-7 dengan tahun studi, didapatkan nilai p-value 0,622. Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat perbedaan tingkat kecemasan pada mahasiswa angkatan tahun 2018 dan 2019 Program Studi S1 Kedokteran Fakultas Kedokteran, Kesehatan Masyarakat, dan Keperawatan Universitas Gadjah Mada.

Background: Anxiety is a condition where a person experiences concern about an unpleasant event that will occur in the future. Medical students have a high prevalence of anxiety events. This can be triggered by several factors such as early adaptation to college, economic problems, understanding of exams, and future careers. Aim: To determine the difference in the level of anxiety in the 2018 and 2019 batches of the Medical Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Methods: This research is an observational analytic study method with the cross-sectional design that will compare the level of anxiety in the 2018 and 2019 batches of students of the Medical Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Respondents' level of anxiety was measured by the General Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) questionnaire. Analysis of the data used is using the method Mann-Whitney Test. Results: From a total of 109 respondents, the majority had mild anxiety levels with 45 people (41%), then followed by moderate anxiety levels with 33 people (30%), minimum anxiety levels with 18 people (17%), and anxiety levels weight with a total of 13 people (12%). After analyzing using the Mann-Whitney Test between the GAD-7 score and the year of study, the p-value was 0.622. Conclusion: There is no difference in the level of anxiety in students from the 2018 and 2019 batches of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada.
