ANALISIS DAMPAK PANDEMI COVID-19 TERHADAP KUNJUNGAN PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE 2 DI GADJAH MADA MEDICAL CENTER TAHUN 2019-2020

2022 | Skripsi | S1 KEDOKTERANLatar Belakang : Diabetes Melitus (DM) merupakan suatu kelompok penyakit metabolik yang ditandai dengan hiperglikemia. Prevalensi pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 (DMT2) di Indonesia sebanyak 80%. Pasien Diabetes Melitus dengan faktor komorbid memiliki tingkat risiko kematian yang tinggi. Berdasarkan data dari Satuan Tugas Penanganan Covid-19 pada tanggal 13 Oktober 2020, total kasus terkonfirmasi positif Covid-19 sebanyak 1.488 pasien tercatat memiliki penyakit komorbid. Pasien Diabetes Melitus memiliki presentasi terbanyak kedua setelah Hipertensi yaitu 34,5% dengan kasus meninggal 11,6%. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terjadi penurunan jumlah kunjungan pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 selama pandemi Covid-19 di Gadjah Mada Medical Center tahun 2020. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptive dengan pendekatan Analisis Data Sekunder (ADS). Subyek penelitian ini adalah setiap pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 di Gadjah Mada Medical Center. Instrumen observasi berdasarkan catatan rekam medis pasien Diabetes Melitus di Gadjah Mada Medical Center tahun 2019-2020. Hasil : Jumlah kunjungan pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 di GMC sebelum pandemi Covid-19 sebanyak 51% (531 pasien) dan selama pandemi Covid-19 sebanyak 42 % (391 pasien). Kesimpulan : Pandemi Covid-19 memberikan dampak terhadap penurunan jumlah kunjungan pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 di GMC sebanyak 16 % (140 pasien).
Background : Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a group of metabolic diseases characterized by hyperglycemia. The prevalence of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (DMT2) patients in Indonesia is 80%. Diabetes Mellitus patients with comorbid factors have a high risk of death. Based on data from the Covid-19 Handling Task Force on October 13, 2020, a total of 1,488 positive confirmed cases of Covid-19 were recorded as having comorbid diseases. Diabetes Mellitus patients have the second highest presentation after hypertension, namely 34.5% with 11.6% deaths. Purpose : This study aims to determine whether there was a decrease in the number of visits by Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients during the Covid-19 pandemic at Gadjah Mada Medical Center in 2020. Methods : This study uses a descriptive quantitative method with a Secondary Data Analysis (ADS) approach. The subjects of this study were every patient with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus at Gadjah Mada Medical Center. Observation instruments based on medical records of Diabetes Mellitus patients at Gadjah Mada Medical Center in 2019-2020. Result : The number of visits of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients at GMC before the Covid-19 pandemic was 51% (531 patients) and during the Covid-19 pandemic as many as 42% (391 patients). Conclusions : The Covid-19 pandemic had an impact on the number of visits of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients at GMC as much as 16% (140 patients).
