Dampak Infrastruktur Transportasi terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Indonesia

Pembangunan infrastruktur dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi, khususnya infrastruktur transportasi yang memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian. Penelitian ini menganalisis dampak infrastruktur transportasi terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia. Model yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) dan Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) dengan data tahun 2004-2020. Hasil dalam jangka panjang ditemukan bahwa infrastruktur transportasi darat, transportasi laut memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, sedangkan transportasi udara memiliki pengaruh yang negatif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Dalam estimasi jangka pendek menunjukkan hasil ekspor dan infrastruktur udara memiliki pengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Pada hasil uji kausalitas terdapat hubungan kausalitas dua arah antara infrastruktur transportasi dan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Dengan adanya hasil tersebut, disarankan pemerintah hendaknya meningkatkan infrastruktur transportasi untuk menunjang pertumbuhan ekonomi.

Infrastructure development is conducted to increase economic growth, especially transportation infrastructure which has an important role in the economy. This study aimed to analyze the impact of transportation infrastructure on economic growth in Indonesia. The model used in this study is the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) and Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) with data from 2004-2020. The results indicate that land and sea transportation infrastructure has a positive effect on economic growth in the long term, while air transportation has a negative effect on economic growth. In the short term, the exports and air infrastructure has an impact on economic growth. The results of the causality test showed that there is a two-way causality relationship between transportation infrastructure and economic growth. With these results, it is suggested that the government should increase transportation infrastructure to support economic growth.
