Rusa jawa (Cervus timorensis russa Mul.&Schl.) merupakan salah satu satwa liar yang berada di Petak 5 Hl.ltan Wanagama 1. Termasuk jenis ruminansia yang memakan hijauan yang berada di lahan pertanian sekitar Petak 5 Hutan Wanagama I karena diperkirakan cadangan makanan yang ada belum bisa mencukupi kebutuhan pakan rusa jawa. Serangan tersebut diduga menyebabkan kerugian petani di sekitar Petak 5 Hutan Wanagama 1. Penelitian ini bertujuaa untuk mengetahui tingkat kerugian petani di sekitar habitat rusa jawa di sekitar Petak 5 Rutan Wanagama I akibat adflnya serangan rusajaWa. Metode penelitian yang diguQakan yaitu : (1) Pendeteksian lokasi serangan rusa jawa di sekitar Petak 5 Hutan Wanagama I, (2) Penentuan luas serangan rusa jawa di sekitar Petak 5 Hutan' Wanagama I dengan arcview GIS, (3) Jenis-jenis tanaman pertanian yang dimakan rusa, (4) Persentase kerusakan tanaman pertanian, dan (5) Taksiran kerugian ~arena kerusakan tanaman pertanian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkap. bahwa lahan pertanian di sekitar Petak 5 Hutan Wanagama I merupakan areal alternatif serangan rusa jawa. Jenis tanaman pertanian yang sering menjadi konsumsi rusa jawa di lahan pertanian adalah jagung, kacang tanah dan kedelai. T~ngkat kerugian yang diderita petani dihitung dengan tiga pendekatan ekonomi yaitu (1) Pendekatan Biaya Modal (Blok I jagung Rp 5.244,OO/ha/masa tanam dan kacang tanah Rp 20.000,OO/ha/masa tanam; Blok II untuk kacang tanah Rp 800,OO/ha/masa tanam dan kedelai Rp 3.600,OO/ha/masa tanam; Blok III kacang tanah Rp 320,OO/ha/masa tanam); (2) Pendekatan Harga Pasar (Blok I j~gung Rp 2.649.600,OO/ha/masa tanam dan kacang tanah Rp 500.000,OO/ha/masa tanam; Blok II untuk kacang tanah Rp 20.000,OO/ha/masa tanam dan kedelai Rp 135.660,OO/ha/masa tanam; Blok III kacang tanah Rp. 8.000,OO/ha/masa tanam); dan (3) Pendekatan CVM (Blok I jagung Rp 2.870.400,OO/ha/masa tanam dan jenis kacang tanah Rp 1.900.000,OO/ha/masa tanam; Blok II kacang tanah Rp 76.000,OO/ha/masa tanam dan kedelai Rp 146.370,OO/ha/mfisa tanam; Blok III kacang tanah Rp 30.400,OO/ha/masa tanam).

Javanese deer (Cervus timorensis russa Mul. & Schl.) is one kind of wildlife which exist in petak 5 Wan~gama I Forest. It belong to ruminance which graze in agricultural area around petak 5 Wanagama I Forest because it's predicted that food reserve was unsufficient to provide the deer's food. The attack was predicted cause the farmer's loss around petak 5 Wanagama I Forest. Objectives of this research were to evaluate farmer's lossness around deer's habitat around petak 5 Wanagama I Forest caused by deer's attack. Series ofmethods were applied: (1) Detection of deer's area attack around petak 5 Wanagama I Forest, (2) Determine of deer's wide attack around petak 5 Wanagama I Forest with arcyiew QIS programm, (3) To evaluate the kind of agricultural plant that eaten by deer, (4) Loss percent of agricultural plant, and (5) Loss prediction caused by the damage of agriculture plant. The result ofthis research showed that the agricultural area around petak 5 Wanagama I Forest is an alternative area of deer's attack. The kind of agricultural plant which often consumpted by d~er in agricultural area are as follow : com, peanut,and soya-bean. Series of economics approach were applied to estimate the loss that suffered by farmers. They are (1) Capital Approach (Block I com Rp 5.244,00lhaitime of plant and peanut Rp 20.000,00lhai time of plant; Block II for peanut Rp 800,00lhaitime of plant and soya-bean Rp 3.600,00lhaitime of plant; Blok III peanut Rp 320,00/haltime ofplant); (2) Market Price Approach (Block I com Rp 2.649.600,00/haltime of plant and peanut Rp 500.000,00/haltime of plant; Block II for peanut Rp 20.000,00lhaitime of plant and soya-bean Rp. 135.660,00lhaitime of plant; Block III peanut Rp 8.000,00lhaitime of plant); and (3) CVM Approach (Block I com ~p 2.870AOO,00lhaitime of plant and peanut Rp 1.900.000,00/haitime of plant; Block II peanut Rp 76.000,00lhaitime of plant and soya-bean Rp 146.370,00/h~time of plant; Block III peanut Rp 30.400,00lhaitime of plant).
