Redesain Asrama Papua Yogyakarta yang Produktif dengan pendekatan Bioklimatik

ABSTRAK Tempat tinggal adalah kebutuhan utama bagi Mahasiswa ditempat mereka menempuh pendidikan. Asrama dapat membatu Mahasiswa yang kuliah jauh dari rumahnya, Asrama adalah akomodasi yang dapat meringankan biaya kehidupan saat kuliah. Yogyakarta menjadi Kota Pelajar dengan jumlah penduduk Pelajar yang terus meningkat setiap tahun. Di Yogyakarta terdapat beberapa Kampus swasta dan Kampus negeri terbaik yang memperkuat bertambahnya jumlah Mahasiswa dimasa yang akan datang dari berbagai Provinsi, salah satunya adalah Provinsi Papua. jumlah Mahasiswa asal Papua adalah 15.000 lebih terhitung sejak tahun 2015 dan terus bertambah tiap tahunnya. Hal ini memberi pengaruh terhadap permintaan kebutuhan Ruang hunian yang bisa mencukupi kebutuhan jumlah penduduk. Redesain Asrama produktif dengan pendekatan Arsitektur Bioklimatik bisa menjawab kebutuhan Ruang bagi Pelajar asal Papua. Desain Asrama yang merespon Penghuni yang pada dasarnya adalah Generasi Milenial. Dengan penekanan produktif dalam desain dan konsep Arsitektur Bioklimatik yang berfokus pemenuhan kebutuhan Penghuni dari desain Asrama yang berfokus pada kenyamanan, psikis dan fisik bangunan. Konsep Arsitektur Bioklimatik dapat memenuhi kebutuhan Penghuni dengan menyesuaikan iklim setempat.

ABSTRACT Housing is the main need for students where they study. Dormitories can help students who study far from their homes, dormitories are accommodation that can reduce the cost of living while studying. Yogyakarta is a student city with a student population that continues to increase every year. In Yogyakarta, there are some of the best private and public campuses that will strengthen the increasing number of students in the future from various provinces, one of which is Papua. the number of students from Papua is more than 15,000 counted since 2015 and continues to grow every year. This affects the demand for residential space that can meet the needs of the population. The redesign of productive Dormitories with a Bioclimatic Architecture approach can answer the space needs for students from Papua. Dormitory design that responds to residents who are basically Millennial Generation. With a productive emphasis on bioclimatic architectural designs and concepts that focus on meeting the needs of residents from a Dormitory design that focuses on comfort, psychological and physical building. The concept of Bioclimatic architecture can meet the needs of residents by adjusting to the local climate.
