THE IMPACT OF PERCEIVED AUTONOMY IN A TELEWORKING WORK SETTING TOWARDS JOB SATISFACTION MEDIATED BY WORK-FAMILY CONFLICT: A STUDY IN THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

2022 | Skripsi | S1 MANAJEMENPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh perceived autonomy pada pengaturan kerja teleworking terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan, serta melihat apakah adanya hubungan pemediasi work-family conflict. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 112 responden yaitu karyawan yang telah melakukan teleworking di dalam kurun waktu 6 bulan yang lalu dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif yaitu kuesioner secara daring. Pengujian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji regresi sederhana dan analisis jalur sesuai dengan uji yang dikembangkan oleh Baron dan Kenny (1986). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perceived autonomy pada pengaturan kerja teleworking memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Kemudian work-family conflict ditemukan mampu memediasi secara parsial hubungan antara perceived autonomy dan kepuasan kerja karyawan.
This study aims to examine the effect of perceived autonomy for employees in teleworking work arrangements on employee job satisfaction, and to see whether there is a mediating relationship between work-family conflict. This research was conducted on 112 respondents, namely employees in Indonesia that has experienced teleworking in the past 6 months using quantitative methods, namely online questionnaires. Tests in this study using a simple regression test and path analysis in accordance with the test developed by Baron and Kenny (1986). The results of this study indicate that the perceived autonomy in a teleworking work arrangement has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Then work-family conflict was found to be able to partially mediate the relationship between perceived autonomy and employee job satisfaction.
