HUBUNGAN ANTARA FAKTOR-FAKTOR SOSIAL EKONOMI MASYARAKAT DESA HUTAN TERHADAP PERSEPSINYA PADA PROGRAM PHBM (Studi Kasus di Perum Perhutani BKPH Senduro KPH Probolinggo)

Decision of Council of Perum Perhutani's directors publish the decision no 136/KPTS/DIR/2001 about PHBM program (Community-Based Forest Resource Management ) represent new expectation of forest Management in Java. The new expectation makes the society as main subject in forest resource management. As program being based on society, the main key to successfulness is an active participation from society. The active participation from society will grow if their perception onto the PHBM program is perfect. The Research target is knowing the perception level of forest countryside society ( MOH) to PHBM program, also aimed to look for the social- economics factors' effects onto it. Data was taken by Technique of the survey method. Sample was taken by the sampling purposive technique (requirement-based sampling ) This research was done on January until February in Countryside of Kadang Tepus which It is BK.PH Senduro KPH Probolinggo's region. The sample up-to 42 respondents. The result of the research showed that MDH's perception level onto the PHBM program was at the average level. This perception condition showed that the in-progress PHBM program in BK.PH Senduro did not fascinate the MDH's participation It was cause the concept did not give much the advantage to MOH and execution in field, still there were things which oppose IO elementary principles of the PHBM program The economics-social factors influence perception level were: age, the level of education, width of the share-farm and experience of farming-time.
