ANALISIS PENGARUH MAKROEKONOMI TERHADAP KINERJA INVESTASI PERUSAHAAN ASURANSI JIWA DI INDONESIA

Tesis ini berupaya mengangkat masalah utama analisis faktor makroekonomi yaitu inflasi, tingkat bunga dan IHSG yang paling mempengaruhi kinerja investasi perusahaan asuransi jiwa di Indonesia. Pengujian dilakukan secara statistik menggunakan data panel 52 perusahaan asuransi jiwa di Indonesia yang terdaftar di Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) dengan rentan waktu tahun 2018-2020. Hasil pengujian menunjukan bahwa Inflasi dan IHSG berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja investasi perusahaan asuransi jiwa di Indonesia, sementara tingkat suku bunga tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja investasi perusahaan asuransi jiwa di Indonesia. Begitu juga pada faktor lain, total investasi dan diversifikasi portofolio juga memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja investasi perusahaan asuransi jiwa di Indonesia. Sementara diversifikasi portofolio tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja investasi perusahaan asuransi jiwa di Indonesia.

This study examines the main problems of macroeconomic factor analysis inflation, interest rates and the JCI which most influence the investment performance of life insurance companies in Indonesia. Using panel data of 52 life insurance companies in Indonesia registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) with fiscal year of 2018-2020. The statistical examinations results show that inflation and JCI have a positive and significant effect on the investment performance of life insurance companies in Indonesia, while interest rates have no significant effect on the investment performance of life insurance companies in Indonesia. Likewise for other factors, total investment and portfolio diversification also have a positive and significant impact on the investment performance of life insurance companies in Indonesia. Meanwhile, portfolio diversification has no significant effect on the investment performance of life insurance companies in Indonesia.
