DACA (Deferred Action For Childhood Arrivals) Sebagai Kebijakan Politik dan Sosio-Ekonomi di Era Joe Biden

Komitmen keberlanjutan dan penguatan kebijakan Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) di bawah pemerintahan Joe Biden merupakan salah satu aspek utama yang layak untuk diteliti berkenaan dengan kebijakan imigrasi di Amerika Serikat. Selain meninjau aspek politik dari kebijakan ini, penelitian ini juga mendiskusikan aspek sosio-ekonomi, yakni bagaimana dampak kebijakan tersebut terhadap sektor ketenagakerjaan di Amerika Serikat. Keputusan Biden untuk kembali melanjutkan dan memperkuat DACA penting untuk diteliti karena dilakukan sesaat setelah pemilihan presiden pada tahun 2020, dan bersamaan dengan momentum stagnansi demografis yang kemudian berpotensi menimbulkan ketidakseimbangan di sektor ketenagakerjaan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aspek politik dan sosio- ekonomi secara integratif mendorong keberlanjutan dan penguatan kebijakan DACA di bawah pemerintahan Joe Biden.

The commitment to sustain and strengthen the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy under the Joe Biden administration is one of the main aspects worth investigating regarding immigration policy in the United States. In addition to reviewing the political aspects of this policy, this study also discusses socio-economic aspects, in particular how the impact of these policies on the employment sector in the United States. It is important to further investigate considering Biden�¢ï¿½ï¿½s decision to continue and strengthen DACA was made shortly after the presidential election in 2020. The decision also coincided with the momentum of demographic stagnation that has the potential to cause imbalances in the employment sector. This research shows that the combination of political and socio-economic aspects have promoted the sustainability and strengthening of DACA policies under the Biden administration.
