This is caused by prohibitation export oflog which encourages the development ofwood manufacture industries. The increase ofpaper consumes also increase the demand of pulp and paper raw materials. The high demand from industries for wood encourages people to increase the plantation trough industrial plantation and community forest. A. auricult!ormis A. Cunn. Ex Benth. Is one ofthe alternative plant as wood manufacture and pulp and paper raw material supply. This research use completely randomized design with 2 factors, those are: age oftree and radial position in the trunk. Age factor consists of3 arrases : 5 years old (Us), 10 years old (UIO) and 15 years old (U1S). Radial factor consists of 3 arrases : near to pith (DB), middle (T) and near to bark (DK). Thus, we have 9 treatment combinations with 3 replications aech. Parameters observed are fiber dimension and cell proportion. Fiber dimension consists of fiber length, fiber diameter, lumen diameter, and cell wall thickness. Cell proportion consists of vessel cell, ray cell, parenchyma cell, and fiber cell proportion. The fiber dimension values are ; fiber length 0,916 rom, fiber diameter 12,601 ).1, lumen diameter 8,618 IJ., and cell wall thickness 2,009 ).1. The fiber dimension derivates values are : runkel number 0,49, muhlsteph nwnber 53,305%, felting power 74,245, flexibility number 0,680, and coefficient of rigidity 0,169. Age factor affect fiber diameter and lumen diameter significantly. Radial factor affect all the fiber dimension parameters significantly. Based on those values, Acacia is clasified into second grade quality, and will give agood quality for pilip and paper. The proportion cell values are : vessel cell 8,266%, ray cell 13,565%, parenchyma cell 17,359%, and fiber cell 60,543%. Age factor affect the vessel cell proportion significantly, and radial position affect the parenchyma cell proporsion significantly. The description for acacia wood on Dadswell and Wardrop triangle shows that Acacia has possibility to be used as pulpand paper material. Based on the cell wall thickness and fiber cell proportion, 5 years old Acacia have a better strength, so we can used it for limited light construction such as beam, board and rafter or for mebelair like table and chair considering their small diameters.
