Teknologi Energi Terbarukan PT Lentera Bumi Nusantara sebagai Daya Tarik Wisata Edukasi

Keberlanjutan harus menjadi pertimbangan pelaku industri dalam mengembangkan pariwisata. Salah satu alternatif kegiatan wisata yang berkelanjutan adalah wisata edukasi. Potensi wisata edukasi terdapat di PT Lentera Bumi Nusantara (LBN) yang merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang teknologi energi terbarukan dan pangan di Desa Ciheras, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Lanskap kincir angin dan panel surya berpotensi menjadi daya tarik wisata karena sudah banyak menarik wisatawan untuk belajar mengenai teknologi energi terbarukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui interaksi yang terjadi antara teknologi energi terbarukan dengan pariwisata dan mengidentifikasi daya tarik wisata beserta kendalanya. Hal tersebut perlu diamati untuk mengetahui potensi daya tarik wisata edukasi di LBN. Teori Beer, dkk. (2018) digunakan untuk mengklasifikasi interaksi energi terbarukan dengan kegiatan wisata yang selama ini terjadi. Identifikasi unsur-unsur pariwisata menggunakan Pujaastawa dan Ariana (2015) sebagai wujud adanya kegiatan wisata di LBN. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengambilan data melalui observasi dan wawancara semi-terstruktur. Hasilnya didapati bahwa interaksi paling tinggi terjadi karena teknologi energi terbarukan LBN dimanfaatkan secara langsung menjadi energi listrik dan dijadikan sebagai edukasi wisatawan dengan bentuk penerimaan aktivitas Kuliah Praktik, Tugas Akhir, dan Kunjungan. LBN juga memiliki bentuk wisata berupa program edukasi teknologi energi baru terbarukan melalui Ciheras University dan sudah memiliki infrastruktur penunjang pariwisata meskipun sederhana karena terkendala oleh pendanaan pengembangan.
Developing the tourism industry must seeking into the challenges and vulnerability of the tourism sector due to natural factors and negative impacts resulting from mass tourism. Sustainability must be considered by industry players in developing tourism. One alternative to sustainable tourism activities is educational tourism. The potential for educational tourism form is found in PT Lentera Bumi Nusantara (LBN), which is a company engaged in renewable energy technology and food stock in Ciheras, Tasikmalaya. The landscape of windmills and solar panels has the potential to become a tourist attraction because it has attracted many tourists to learn about renewable energy technology. The purpose of this study is to determine the interactions that occur between renewable energy technology and tourism and identify tourist attractions and their constraints. This needs to be observed to find out the potential for educational tourism attractions in LBN. Beer theory, et al. (2018) is used to classify the interaction of renewable energy with tourism activities that have occurred so far. Identification of tourism elements using Pujaastawa and Ariana (2015) as a form of tourism activities in LBN. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection through observation and semi-structured interviews. The results found that the highest interaction occurred because LBN renewable energy technology was used directly into electrical energy and served as tourist education in the form of acceptance of Internship, Final Projects, and Visits activities. LBN also has a form of tourism in the form of a new renewable energy technology education program through Ciheras University and already has tourism supporting infrastructure, although it is traditional because it is constrained by development funding.
