The rain forest sumpplles various spesies fulfills our needs. that besides use in fonnation community CUl1:ure areas on tile other hand forest utilization oriented oftimber has reSlulte~a aecrerrlent ofnatural habitat and potential plants This research is aimed as a observational study consevation tecniques used by local community in utilization of medicine planst, ekologi conditions medicine planst within ifnatural habitat ( in the forest ofBukit Brungbung Bukir Duabelas National Park) The techinque used for both research is qualitative descriptive methode, with spesies diversity accumalative using the Shannon wiener index, and the species distribution pattern with themorissitaindex. Analysis out comes shows that the Kuhu Tribe community has done several conservaton Techniques conserving the forest resources such as : making sites, melangun, restricting planting above riversides, not consuming herded animal, not contaminating the wafer sources, restriction of throwing hat water wastes to the soil, and not hunting wild animal thet are woeshipped. In the Bukit Brungbung Foerst it is faund 16 types ofmedicine plants in tree habitats, tl1at are : Ampedu tanoh, Cempedak, Cerako, DOOan, Kayu salok, Kayu salung, Kayu selusuh, Kayu siluk, Kayu tampuy nasi, kandis, kendodong tunjuk, Petaling, Petai, Pulai, Sengkubungon, and Terap. With the diversity index Bukit Brungbung Forest at 0,107936 and a tendecy ofspreading alike except for dOOan and petai that is observed ingroup spreading.
