Pengembangan Fitur Berbasis Lokasi pada Sistem Informasi Bus Kampus FT-UGM

Capstone Project ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan civitas akademika UGM khususnya Fakultas Teknik untuk bepergian di daerah kampus UGM dengan menggunakan sistem transportasi bus kampus FT-UGM yang dibantu oleh sistem informasinya. Sistem informasi menyediakan layanan terkait operasional bus kampus FT-UGM sehingga penumpang dapat menggunakan sistem transportasi bus kampus dengan nyaman. Dalam pengembangan sistem informasi bus kampus FT-UGM digunakan pendekatan SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) dengan metode Agile. Metode ini dipilih karena pada pengembangan pertama diperlukan metode yang fleksibel untuk menyesuaikan perubahan-perubahan yang ada. Sistem informasi bus kampus FT-UGM yang dikembangkan berbentuk aplikasi Android. Aplikasi yang digunakan oleh pengguna menampilkan informasi berupa jadwal bus, posisi bus, rute bus, kursi yang tersedia, halte terdekat dari pengguna, dan estimasi waktu kedatangan bus. Bahasa pemrograman Kotlin dan Firebase realtime database digunakan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi Android yang dapat menampilkan informasi tersebut.

This Capstone Project aims to make travelling with FT-UGM campus bus transportation system around UGM campus area easier for UGM academics with the help of its information system. The information system provides information related to FT-UGM campus bus operations so passengers can use the campus bus transportation system comfortably. For developing the FT-UGM campus bus information system, SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) with agile method is used. This method chosen because on the first development, method that flexible for changes is needed. FT-UGM campus bus information system that developed on Android aplication. Application that used by user will show information about bus schedule, bus position, bus route, available seat, nearest stop from user, estimated time for bus arrival. Kotlin programming language and Firebase realtime database is used for developing Android application that could show that information.
