Komposisi Jenis Pohon Penyusun di Wana Wisata dan Bumi Perkemahan Sumberboto Jombang

Wana Wisata Sumberboto merupakan salah satu ekowisata yang terletak di Kabupaten Jombang Jawa Timur. Sumberboto berada di RPH Gempol, BKPH Gedangan, KPH Jombang, Perum Perhutani Unit II. Keberadaan vegetasi pohon di Sumberboto sangat penting, oleh karena itu penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui lebih lanjut tentang komposisi jenis pohon yang berada di Sumberboto. Metode pengambilan data pohon yang digunakan adalah sensus pohon pada petak 10 anak petak 10P dengan luas ±10,6 Ha. Kemudian dilakukan identifikasi menggunakan buku acuan. Apabila terdapat jenis yang belum diketahui maka dilakukan pengoleksian bagian tumbuhan bagian daun dan ranting. Herbarium yang dikumpulkan diberikan kepada para ahli untuk diidentifikasi. Hasil penelitian serta identifikasi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 53 jenis pohon dalam 19 famili yang tersebar di Wana Wisata Sumberboto. Jenis yang paling banyak dijumpai adalah Tectona grandis (228 pohon), Swietenia macrophylla (183 pohon), dan Spathodea campanulata (91 pohon). Sedangkan Fabaceae merupakan famili yang paling banyak ditemui.

Wana Wisata Sumberboto is one of the ecotourism located in Jombang, East Java. Sumberboto is located at RPH Gempol, BKPH Gedangan, KPH Jombang, Perum Perhutani Unit II. The presence of tree vegetation in Sumberboto is very important, therefore this study intends to find out more about the composition of the tree species located in Sumberboto. The method of retrieving tree data used is a census of trees on plot 10 sub plot 10P, with an area of ±10.6 ha. Then the identification is done using the reference book. If there is an unknown type then the collection of plant parts of leaves and twigs. Then the herbarium that has been collected is given to the experts to be identified. The results of the research and identification showed that there are 53 species of trees in 19 families scattered in Wana Wisata Sumberboto. The most common species are Tectona grandis (228 trees), Swietenia macrophylla (183 trees), and Spathodea campanulata (91 trees). While Fabaceae is the most common family.
