2021 | Skripsi | S1 TEKNIK PERTANIANRANCANG BANGUN ALAT PENANAM BENIH JAGUNG MEKANIS DENGAN SISTEM PEMBAGIAN BENIH STICK ROTATION INTISARI Oleh: FAIZ MUHAMMED 17/410499/TP/11785 Pada sektor pertania terdapat berbagai macam alat tanam benih jagung, akan tetapi masih terdapat kendala jumlah benih yang ditanam berlebihan sehingga tidak efisien . Guna mengatasi kendala tersebut, maka dibuatlah alat tanam benih jagung dengan sistem pembagian benih stick rotation. Dengan menggunakan sistem pembagian benih stick rotation diprediksi mampu meningkatkan produktivitas penanaman jagung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu merancang alat tanam benih jagung dengan menggunakan sistem pembagian benih stick rotation. Pengujian yang dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji verifikasi dan uji fungsional untuk mengetahui kinerja alat terhadap berbagaii macam jenis jagung. Selain mengetahui kinerja alat, pengujian juga untuk mengetahui kekurangan yang ada. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu dengan pengamatan langsung. Pengolahan data dilakukan meliputi jumlah benih termakan dan pengeluaran benih dari hopper sebelum dan sesudah perbaikan alat. Prototipe seeder stick rotation berhasil dirancang dan direalisasikan dan didapatkan hasil hasil uji benih yang termakan sebelum perbaikan memiliki presentase mulai dari 6 hingga 44% sedangkan pemakanan setelah dilakukan perbaikan mengalami peningkatan yaitu mulai dari 57 hingga 84%. Hasil uji benih keluar sebelum perbaikan didapatkan nilai benih keluar berjumlah 1 mulai dari 12 hingga 17% sedangkan setelah perbaikan hopper didapatkan kenaikan presentase benih keluar berjumlah 1 yaitu mulai dari 57 hingga 84%. Rekomendasi perbaikan alat berupa penambahan Agitator pada hopper dengan sumber listrik berupa accu, penambahan spons pada bagian lubang stick rotation yang dapat diganti sesuai ukuran benih, dan juga penambahan sistem pemberian pupuk .
DESIGN MECANICAL CORN SEEDER BY USING SEED METERING DEVICE STICK ROTATION SYSTEM ABSTRACT By: FAIZ MUHAMMED 17/410499/TP/11785 in the agricultural sector, there are various kind of corn seed planting tools, but there are still obstacles in the number of seed being planted so that they are not efficient. In order to overcome these obstacles, a corn seed planting tool was made whith a stick rotation seed distribution system. By using the stick rotation distribution system, it is predicted to increase the pprodctivity of corn planting. The purpose of this reaserch is to design a corn seed planting tool using a stick rotation seed distribution system. The test ain this studdy are verivication tes and functional test to determine the performance of the tool against various types of corn. In addition to knowing the performance of tool, testing is also to find out exiting deficiencies. The method used in this research is direct observation. Data processing was carried out covering the number of ingested seeds and removing seeds from the hopper before and after repairing the equipment. The seeder stick rotation prototype was successfully designed and realized and the results obtained from the test results that the ingested seeds before the repair had a percentage ranging from 6 to 44%, while the feed after the repair had increased from 57 to 84%. The results of the seed out test before the repair showed that the seed value came out of 1 starting from 12 to 17%, while after the hopper repair, it was found that the percentage of seeds out was 1, starting from 57 to 84%. Recommendations for tool repair include adding an agitator to the hopper with a power source in the form of a battery, adding a sponge in the stick rotation hole that can be replaced according to the size of the seed, and also adding a fertilizer application system
