Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menentukan kunci interpretasi visual kebun salak di Kecamatan Turi menggunakan Citra Pleiades. Digunakannya Citra Pleiades karena cakupan area penelitian yang sempit dan membutuhkan kedetailan informasi untuk membedakan kebun salak dengan yang lain sehingga memerlukan citra skala tinggi dengan resolusi spasial yang baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena penyusunan kunci interpretasi kebun salak belum banyak dilakukan. Penelitian ini juga merepresentasikan penggunaan lahan kebun salak dalam bentuk peta. Teknik yang digunakan yaitu interpretasi visual dengan melakukan digitasi pada citra. Selain itu, untuk mempermudah mengenali kebun salak perlu mengkompositkan Citra Pleiades menjadi 412. Hal ini dikarenakan pada komposit tersebut kenampakan penggunaan lahan kebun salak lebih terlihat jelas kenampakan objeknya dibandingkan dengan objek penggunaan lahan yang lain. Kenampakan di Citra Pleiades komposit 412 dan di lapangan kebun salak berasosiasi dengan permukiman, kebun campuran, dan sawah yang bersitus di lereng Gunung Merapi. Pola kebun salak di lapangan maupun citra mayoritas menyebar menggerombol (kebun salak muda) dan menyebar memanjang (kebun salak tua). Kebun salak muda tidak memiliki bayangan sama dengan kenampakan di lapangan. Kebun salak tua di citra memiliki bayangan. Kebun salak memiliki tekstur kasar yang berbentuk bintang. Kebun salak tua berukuran sedang dan kebun salak muda berukuran besar. Rona kebun salak di lapangan terang berwarna hijau, sedangkan kebun salak tua memiliki rona gelap dan kebun salak muda berona terang berwarna merah. Disimpulkan mayoritas kebun salak di citra maupun lapangan memiliki pola menyebar namun tidak memiliki bayangan. Kebun salak memiliki tekstur kasar dengan bentuk bintang yang berukuran sedang hingga besar. Namun, kebun salak di lapangan memiliki rona terang berwarna hijau sedangkan di Citra Pleiades komposit 412 kebun salak memiliki rona terang berwarna merah.

This studi was conducted with the aim of determining the key of the visual interpretation of zalacca gardens in Turi District using Pleiades Imagery. The use of Pleiades Imagery is due to the narrow scope of the research area and requires detailed information to distinguish zalacca gardens from others, thus requiring high-scale images with good spatial resolution. This research was conducted because the preparation of key interpretations of salak gardens has not been widely carried out. This study also represents the land use of the salak garden in the form of a map. The technique used is visual interpretation by digitizing the image. In addition, to make it easier to identify the salak gardens, it is necessary to composite the Pleiades image to 412. This is because in the composite the appearance of the salak garden land use is more clearly visible than the other land use objects. Appearances in the composite image of Pleiades 412 and in the salak garden field are associated with settlements, mixed gardens, and rice fields located on the slopes of Mount Merapi. The pattern of salak gardens in the field as well as the majority image is spread in clusters (young salak gardens) and spread lengthwise (old salak gardens). Young barking gardens do not have the same shadow as the appearance in the field. The old barking garden in the image has a shadow. The bark of the garden has a rough texture in the shape of a star. Old salak gardens are medium in size and young salak gardens are large. The color of the salak gardens in the light field is green, while the old salak gardens have a dark hue and the young salak gardens have a bright red hue. It was concluded that the majority of salak gardens in the image and in the field had a spreading pattern but did not have shadows. The salak garden has a rough texture with a medium to large star shape. However, the salak gardens in the field have a bright green hue while in Citra Pleiades composite 412 the salak gardens have a bright red hue.
