PRODUKSI KARKAS DAN GIBLET AYAM JOWO SUPER (JOPER) DENGAN TIPE BULU YANG BERBEDA PADA UMUR 70 HARI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui produksi karkas dan giblet (hati dan empedal) ayam Jowo Super (joper) dengan bulu yang berbeda yaitu berbulu normal, walik, dan leher gundul. Sebanyak 42 ekor Day Old Chickens ayam Joper berbulu Normal, Walik, dan Leher Gundul dikelompokan dalam kandang yang berbeda sebagai perlakuan, dan diberi pakan dan minum yang sama. Setiap perlakuan terdiri 3 ulangan, dan setiap ulangan terdiri dari 4 ayam berbulu Normal, 4 Walik, dan 5 Leher Gundul. Pengulangan kedua terdiri dari 3 ayam berbulu Normal, 3 Walik, dan 3 Leher Gundul. Pengulangan ketiga terdiri dari 7 ayam berbulu Normal, 6 Walik, dan 7 Leher Gundul. Pakan yang diberikan adalah pakan Broiler I Crumble. Waktu penelitian selama 70 hari. Percobaan ini menggunakan metode penelitian Rancangan Acak Lengkap pola searah. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian meliputi bobot hidup (g/ekor), bobot potong (g/ekor), bobot karkas (g/ekor), persentase karkas (%), dan bobot giblet (hati dan empedal) (g/ekor). Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perbedaan tipe bulu tidak berpengaruh terhadap bobot hidup, bobot potong, bobot karkas, persentase karkas, bobot hati, dan bobot empedal. Hasil penelitian menunjukan tidak ada perbedaan nyata terhadap produksi karkas dan giblet ayam Joper berbulu Normal, Walik, dan Leher Gundul. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa ayam Joper berbulu Normal, Walik, dan Leher gundul menghasilkan bobot hidup, bobot potong, bobot karkas, persentase karkas, serta bobot hati dan empedal yang tidak berbeda. This study aimed to determine the production of carcass and giblet (liver and gizzard) of Jowo Super chicken (Joper) with different feather that is Normal featherly Joper, Frizzle Joper, and Naked Neck Joper. A total of 42 Day Old Chickens, Joper chickens with Normal featherly Joper, Frizzle Joper, and Naked Neck Joper feathers were grouped in different chicken coop as treatment, and were given the same feed and drink. Each treatment consisted of 3 replications, and each replication consisted of 4 Normal Joper, 4 Frizzle Joper, and 5 Naked Neck Joper. The second iteration consists of 3 Normal feathered chickens, 3 Frizzle Joper, and 3 Naked Neck Joper. The third iteration consists of 7 Normal feathered chickens, 6 Frizzle Joper, and 7 Naked Neck Joper. The feed was Broiler I Crumble feed. Research time for 70 days. The research method used a completely randomized design in a unidirectional pattern. Research parameters were live weight (g/head), slaughter weight (g/head), carcass weight (g/head), carcass percentage (%), and giblet weight (liver and gizzard) (g/head). The data collected were analyzed using analysis of variance. The results showed that the different feather types had no effect on live weight, slaughter weight, carcass weight, carcass percentage, liver weight, and gizzard weight. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the production of carcass and giblets of Normal featherly Joper, Frizzle Joper, and Naked Neck Joper. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that Normal, Frizzle, and Naked neck Joper chickens produced live weight, slaughter weight, carcass weight, carcass percentage, and liver and gizzard weights that were not different.
