FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMENGARUHI JUMLAH ANGGOTA KOPERASI DI INDONESIA: PENDEKATAN MAKROEKONOMI

Jumlah anggota koperasi di Indonesia masih sangat sedikit dibandingkan dengan jumlah anggota koperasi di negara maju jika dilihat proporsinya dengan populasi total dimana kebanyakan negara maju menganut sistim ekonomi kapitalis. Hal ini bertentangan dengan jati diri koperasi sebagai soko guru perekonomian Indonesia yang berlandaskan perekonomian Pancasila. Penelitian ini mencoba menjelaskan dinamika jumlah anggota koperasi di Indonesia dengan perspektif makro ekonomi. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan metode regresi data panel. Perspektif makro ekonomi dipakai karena belum banyak penelitian tentang koperasi yang menggunakan perspektif makroekonomi. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa tingkat pendidikan memiliki dampak negatif terhadap jumlah anggota koperasi sementara tingkat inflasi memiliki hubungan yang positif.

The number of cooperative members in Indonesia is still very small compared to the number of cooperative members in developed countries when viewed in proportion to the total population with most of developed countries used capitalism as their economic ideology. This is contrary to the identity of cooperatives as the pillars of the Indonesian economy with Pancasila as its economic ideology. This study tries to explain the dynamics of the number of cooperative members in Indonesia from a macroeconomic perspective. This research will use panel data regression method. The macroeconomic perspective is used because there are not many studies on cooperatives that use a macroeconomic perspective. This study found that the level of education has a negative impact on the number of cooperative members while the inflation rate has a positive relationship.
