Kepatuhan Mahasiswa Kepaniteraan Dalam Tindkan Kontrol Infeksi Setelah Ekstraksi Gigi di RSGM Prof. Soedomo Selama Pandemi COVID-19

Kontrol infeksi wajib dilakukan oleh seluruh mahasiswa kepaniteraan terutama pada saat pandemi seperti saat ini. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengevaluasi kepatuhan tindakan kontrol infeksi setelah ekstraksi gigi oleh mahasiswa kepaniteraan di klinik integrasi RSGM UGM Prof. Soedomo selama pandemi COVID-19. Subjek penelitian berjumlah masing-masing 56 orang mahasiswa kepaniteraan sebagai operator dan asisten operator yang melakukan tindakan ekstraksi gigi di klinik integrasi RSGM UGM Prof. Soedomo. Penelitian dilakukan dengan observasi langsung dengan mengisi checklist. Hasil akan dianalisis dengan uji SPSS Chi Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwai pemberian tampon menggunakan pinset (17,9%); melepas sarung tangan (91,1%), dispossable gown (41,1%), faceshield/goggles (38,3%), masker (44,6%), headcap (44,6%); mencuci tangan setelah melepas sarung tangan (64,4%), dispossable gown (55,4%), faceshield/goggles (50%), masker (53,6%), headcap (53,6%), berganti baju dan sepatu (58,9%); desinfeksi faceshield/goggles (83,9%) belum dilakukan secara maksimal oleh operator, sedangkan pelepasan dental bib (66,1%); menempatkan tisu dan memisahkan instrumen (98,2%); menempatkan jarum suntik (92,2%); pembersihan instrumen dan menempatkan sampah infeksius (89,3%); desinfeksi dental unit (82,1%); %); melepas sarung tangan (89,3%), dispossable gown (41,1%), faceshield/goggles (28,6%), masker (50%), headcap (58,9%); mencuci tangan setelah melepas sarung tangan (76,6%), dispossable gown (51,8%), faceshield/goggles (37,5%), masker (32,1%), headcap (35,7%), berganti baju dan sepatu (39,3%); desinfeksi faceshield/goggles (69,6%); memindahkan instrumen bekas pakai (0%) belum dilakukan secara maksimal oleh asisten operator. Perbandingan kepatuhan tindakan kontrol infeksi oleh operator dan asisten operator menunjukan tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna (p����¯�¿�½������¢������¯������¿������½����¯�¿�½������¥0,05).
Clinical system in RSGM UGM, dental clinical students who doing dental treatment acts as operator and assistant operator. Infection control must done all by dental clinical student especially in COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of the study was to evaluate compliance with infection control measures after tooth extraction by students secretariat in the integration clinic of the Prof. Soedomo dental and oral hospital of Gajah Mada University during the COVID-19 pandemic. The subjects were 56 dental clinical students who acts as operator and assistant operator who carrying out tooth extraction in the integration clinic of Prof. Soedomo dental and oral hospital. The research was conducted by direct observation by filling out a checklist. The results will be analyzed using the SPSS test Chi Square. The results of the research show giving tampons using tweezers (17.9%); removing gloves (91.1%), dispossable gown (41.1%), faceshield/goggles (38.3%), masks (44.6%), head cap (44.6%); washing hands after removing gloves (64.4%), dispossable gowns (55.4%), faceshield/goggles (50%), masks (53.6%), headcap (53.6%), removing clothes and shoes (58.9%); desinfection of faceshield/goggles (83.9%) still not optimal by the operator, whereas dental bib removal (66.1%); placing tissue and separating instruments (98.2%); placing a syringe (92.2%); desinfection of instruments and placing infectious waste (89.3%); disinfection of the dental unit (82.1%); removing gloves (89.3%), dispossable gown (41.1%), faceshield/goggles (28.6%), masks (50%), headcap (58.9%); washing hands after removing gloves (76.6%), disposable gowns (51.8%), faceshield/goggles (37.5%), masks (32.1%), headcap (35.7%), changing clothes and shoes (39.3%); disinfection of faceshields/goggles (69.6%); moving instruments (0%) still not optimal by assistant operator. Comparison of compliance with infection control measures by the operator and assistant operator showed no significant difference (p����¯�¿�½������¢������¯������¿������½����¯�¿�½������¥0.05).
