TRANSFORMING ACCESS TO HEALTH-CARE IN LOW AND MIDDLE INCOME COUNTRIES MHEALTH REVIEW

Kita telah melihat Layanan Medis dengan gaya lama yang sama, di mana pasien membutuhkan bantuan medis melalui kunjungan ke fasilitas medis, kemudian diberikan waktu tunggu tertentu dan dirujuk ke dokter untuk memenuhi kebutuhan medis mereka. Tren ini telah beralih ke transformasi digital dari mulai konsultasi dokter hingga mendapatkan layanan rumah untuk setiap kebutuhan pasien. Transformasi digital layanan medis hadir melalui layanan mHealth dimana telefon genggam telah menjadi media pertukaran layanan antara penyedia layanan medis dan pasiennya. Karena mudah digunakan, banyak kekurangan yang dihadapi seperti kurangnya keahlian di bidang medis di suatu negara dan/atau kurangnya jangkauan sinyal atau sinyal putih di suatu negara dapat menjadi hambatan untuk layanan ini. Meskipun banyak yang mengatakan layanan ini sangat membantu meringankan kebutuhan medis mereka, terutama setelah Pandemi Covid-19 mengguncang dunia, sektor ini membutuhkan banyak peningkatan karena mereka memiliki potensi besar dalam jangka panjang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan manusia di bidang medis sehari-hari.

We have been looking at Medical Services at the same old style where patient needs medical assistance through going to a medical facilities, given a certain waiting time and was appointed to a doctor to cater their medical needs. This trend has moved to a digital transformation of consulting a doctor and getting home services for any of the patients need. Digital transformation of medical services comes through mHealth services where mobile has been the media of service exchange between medical provider and their patients. Being easy to use, many drawbacks has been encountered such as lack of expertise in medical field in a country and less signal or white signal coverage presence in a country could be a hold-up for this services. Although, many says this service helped a lot in easing off their Medical needs, especially after the Covid-19 Pandemi shook the world, this sector needs a lot of improvement as they have a huge potential in the longrun to be a human daily assitance in medical sector.
