Kabupaten Sleman memiliki program penting yaitu pengembangan desa wisata sebagai alat penguatan sistem ekonomi kerakyatan dan penanggulangan kemiskinan. Namun, adanya masalah terkait desa wisata mati suri yang disebabkan karena manajemen pengelolaan wisata yang kurang matang, peran masyarakat setempat yang rendah, dan sebagainya mengakibatkan perlunya analisis sustainable tourism sebagai alat evaluasi. Desa Wisata Sambirejo salah satunya. Atraksi utama pada desa wisata ini adalah Taman Wisata Tebing Breksi. Pengelolaan wisatanya cukup aktif, tapi memiliki masalah yang sama dengan desa wisata yang mati suri menimbulkan pertanyaan apakah Desa Wisata Sambirejo akan mati suri atau tidak. Manajemen pariwisata yang matang diperlukan agar dapat meminimalisir masalah dari ancaman yang mungkin terjadi. Oleh karena itu, analisis keberlanjutan sangat penting untuk menilai faktor apa saja yang perlu diperbaiki. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasikan tingkat keberlanjutan dan faktor-faktor apa saja yang paling berpengaruh terhadap keberlanjutan Taman Wisata Tebing Breksi di Desa Wisata Sambirejo. Analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif-kualitatif dengan metode multidimensional scalling (MDS) yang diperkuat dengan hasil analisis kualitatif dengan metode explanatory sequential mixed method. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat keberlanjutan Taman Wisata Tebing Breksi di Desa Wisata Sambirejo cukup berkelanjutan. Faktor-faktor yang paling berpengaruh pada keberlanjutan ini antara lain kesesuaian fungsi kawasan, ketersediaan RTH, kontribusi wisata terhadap PAD, peran masyarakat setempat, tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat, tingkat pelayanan wisata, dan tingkat kreativitas pengelola wisata. Ketujuh faktor tersebut menunjukkan bahwa banyak faktor yang memenuhi konsep community based tourism. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sustainable community based tourism dapat dirujuk sebagai konsep perencanaan Taman Wisata Tebing Breksi pada penelitian selanjutnya.

Sleman Regency has an important program namely the development of tourism villages that aims to strengthen the people' s economic system and reducing poverty. However, there are problems related to suspended tourism villages caused by immature tourism management, the stunted role of local communities, and so on, resulting in the need for an analysis of sustainable tourism as an evaluation tool. Sambirejo Tourism Village is one of them. The main attraction is this Breksi Cliff Tourism Park. The tourism management is quite active, but having the same problem with the suspended tourism village raises the question of whether Sambirejo Tourism Village will be developed or not. Mature tourism management is needed to minimize problems from threats that my occur. Therefore, sustainability analysis is crucial to assess what factors need to be improved. This study aims to identify the level of sustainability in which factors have the most influence on the sustainability of the Breksi Cliff Tourism Park at Sambirejo Tourism Village. The analysis in this study uses a quantitative-qualitative descriptive approach with the multidimensional scaling (MDS) method This analysis is also supported by the results of a qualitative analysis using the explanatory sequential mixed method. The results show that the level of sustainability of the Breksi Cliff Tourism Park in Sambirejo Tourism Village is entirely sustainable. The factors that most influence this sustainability include the suitability of the area's functions, the availability of green space, the contribution of tourism to PAD, the role of the local community, the level of community knowledge, the level of tourism services, and the level of creativity of tourism managers. The seven factors indicate that many factors meet the concept of community based tourism. This shows that sustainable community based tourism can be referred to as a planning concept for the Breksi Cliff Park in further research.
