Studi tentang keluarga Pionir Amerika akhir abad XIX :: dalam "Little House on the Prairie"

Tesis ini membahas keluarga pionir Amerika akhir abad XIX dan hubungannya dengan novel /Little House on the Prairie, karya Laura Ingalls Wilder. Penelitian ini menerapkan sudut pandang Pengkajian Amerika dengan menggunakan pendekatan interdisipliner yaitu pendekatan sejarah dan sastra. Tesis ini berusaha menganalisis dan mengungkap kehidupan keluarga pionir akhir abad XIX, dan pengaruh interaksi keluarga pionir yang terjadi dengan wrlderness dan fronlier, serta me1 ihat representasinya dalam novel /Little House on the Prairie, dengan menggunakan teori mimesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi yang terus menerus terjadi terhadap wilderness dan frontier, mempengaruhi semangat, kepribadian, dan kehidupan keluarga pionir Amerika akhir abad XIX.

This thesis is about a study of the American pioneer family in thc last 19th Century and its relation to the novel 0f Little House on the Prairie written by Laura Ingalls Wilder. The research applied the interdiciplinary approach of American Studies, by using g history and literature approaches, to give an expression and analize the life of the American pioneer family in the last 19Ih Century, and its interaction‘s influence to the wilderness and frontier, and also its reflection in Little House on the Prairie. The result of the research proved that the life of the American pioneer family is influenced by the wilderness and frontier and the story of Little House on the Prairie is really the reflection of the real life of the American pioneer family in the last 19th Century.
