ANALISIS KINERJA INDEKS SEKTORAL PADA IHSG TERHADAP PERISTIWA PERANG DAGANG AMERIKA SERIKAT DAN CINA

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji bagaimana pengaruh peritiwa perang dagang antara Amerika Serikat dan Cina dalam periode tahun 2017-2018 terhadap sektor-sektor yang ada di IHSG. Data sampel yang digunakan adalah return indeks sektoral tersebut selama 3 hari sebelum dan 3 hari sesudah perang dagang itu terjadi. Alat analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistisk Kolmogorov- Smirnov Test. Berdasarkan hasil uji analis sebelum dan sesudah perang dagang Amerika Serikat dan Cina yang dilakukan terhadap sektor-sektor IHSG, ditemukan tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada kejadian sebelum dan sesudah perang dagang pada sektor-sektor seperti Agriculture (Pertanian), Finance (Keuangan), Infrastructure (Infrastruktur), Miscellaneus Industry (Aneka Industri), Property (Properti) dan Trading (Perdagangan). Namun ditemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada hari ketiga sesudah kejadian perang dagang terhadap 4 sektor yang ada di IHSG seperti Basic Industry (Industri Dasar), Consumer Industri (Industri Konsumsi), Manufacture (Manufaktur), dan Mining (Pertambangan).

This study was conducted to examine how the effects of the trade war between the United States and China in the 2017-2018 period on the sectors in the JCI. The sample data used is the sectoral index return for 3 days before and 3 days after the trade war occurred. The data analysis tool used is the Kolmogorov- Smirnov Test statistic. Based on the results of analyst tests before and after the trade war between the United States and China conducted on the JCI sectors, it was found that there was no significant effect on events before and after the trade war in sectors such as Agriculture, Finance, Infrastructure, Miscellaneus Industry, Property and Trading. However, it was found that there was a significant effect on the third day after the trade war incident on 4 sectors in the JCI such as Basic Industry, Consumer Industry, Manufacturing, and Mining.
