IMPLEMENTASI AJARAN FILSAFAT HIDUP KI AGENG SURYOMENTARAM SEBAGAI UPAYA PENGEMBANGAN KARAKTER BANGSA DALAM TINJAUAN ETIKA

Penelitian ini berjudul Implementasi Ajaran Filsafat Hidup Ki Ageng Suryomentaram sebagai Upaya Pengembangan Karakter Bangsa dalam Tinjauan Etika. Pada dasarnya penelitian ini berangkat dari permasalahan kehidupan sosial masyarakat akibat pengaruh arus globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi yang tidak terkendali. Akibat dari adanya pengaruh tersebut memberikan dampak pada tatanan kehidupan yang mendorong seseorang bertindak secara praktis untuk mendapatkan sesuatu, menempuh segala cara dalam mencapai tujuan hidup. Akibatnya tidak sedikit generasi penerus bangsa yang lupa akan jati diri bangsa dengan keanekaragaman nilai luhur. Karakter bangsa merupakan cerminan dari karakter warga negara, sehingga menjadi tugas bersama untuk memperbaiki karakter diri menjadi lebih baik. Filsafat hidup dapat menjadi sebuah landasan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan kaitannya dapat menjadi sebuah bimbingan dan pegangan hidup seseorang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi dan menginventarisasi ajaran filsafat hidup Ki Ageng Suryomentaram sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai refleksi dalam menghadapi permasalah karakter bangsa ditinjau dari etika. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kepustakaan yang diawali dengan tahap inventarisasi data, observasi awal, pengumpulan data, analisis data, pengumpulan hasil. Unsur-unsur metodisnya yakni: deskripsi, interpretasi, koherensi inhern, holistika, dan kesinambungan historis. Adapun hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pertama, ajaran filsafat hidup Ki Ageng merupakan hasil dari perenungan panjang atas pengalaman yang dialami selama hidupnya. Filsafat hidup Ki Ageng Suryomentaram menjadi sebuah landasan dalam pengembangan diri kaitannya berhubungan terhadap orang lain. Kedua, implementasi ajaran filsafat hidup Ki Ageng Suryomentaram sebagai upaya membentuk karakter bangsa merupakan hal yang tepat dan relevan dalam upaya menyikapi permasalahan bangsa yang sedang terjadi. Ketiga, langkah tersebut apabila ditinjau menggunakan etika maka akan menjadi sebuah landasan dalam upaya membentuk tatanan moral etika normatif yang sesuai dengan nilai luhur bangsa.

This research is entitled Implementation of The Teachings of Living Philosophy Ki Ageng Suryomentaram as An Effort to Develop the Character of the Nation in the Ethics Review. Basically this research departs from the problems of people's social life due to the influence of globalization and uncontrolled technological developments. As a result of this influence has an impact on the order of life that encourages a person to act practically to get something, to go all the way in achieving life's goals. As a result, not a few generations of the nation forget about the identity of the nation with a diversity of noble values. The character of the nation is a reflection of the character of the citizens, so it becomes a joint task to improve the character of the self for the better. The philosophy of life can be a foundation in solving related problems can be a guidance and a handle on one's life. The purpose of this research is to explore and inventory the teachings of life philosophy Ki Ageng Suryomentaram so that it can be used as a reflection in the face of the problems of the nation's character reviewed from ethics. This study uses literature studies that begin with the stage of data inventory, preliminary observation, data collection, data analysis, results collection. The methodical elements are: description, interpretation, inherent coherence, holisticity, and historical continuity. The findings of this study show that First, the teachings of Ki Ageng's philosophy of life are the result of a long reflection of the experiences experienced during his life. The philosophy of life of Ki Ageng Suryomentaram became a foundation in the self-development of related to others. Second, the implementation of the teachings of life philosophy Ki Ageng Suryomentaram as an effort to shape the character of the nation is the right thing and relevant in an effort to address the nation's problems that are happening. Third, the step if reviewed using ethics will be a foundation in an effort to form a normative ethical moral order in accordance with the noble values of the nation.
