THE NEWS PRODUCTION PROCESS OF SELOPURO LANDSLIDE DISASTER OF THE PUBLIC RELATION SUBDIVISION OF REGIONAL GOVERNMENT OF NGANJUK REGENCY

Humas memiliki peran penting dalam membantu proses sosialisasi kebijakan dan pelayanan pemerintah kepada masyarakat. Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk membahas tentang Profil Sub Bagian Humas Pemerintah Kabupaten Nganjuk dan Proses produksi berita Bencana Longsor Selopuro di Instagram. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data utama yang penulis gunakan adalah wawancara dengan beberapa informan yang relevan. Data yang telah terkumpul dikelompokkan berdasarkan tujuan penulisan tugas akhir yang penulis lakukan. Sub Bagian Humas Pemerintah Kabupaten Nganjuk yang mempunyai fungsi tugas dalam produksi berita terkait dokumentasi kegiatan pemerintahan Kabupaten Nganjuk. Bencana longsor Selopuro merupakan sebuah bencana yang terjadi di Kabupaten Nganjuk dan melibatkan pemerintah dalam proses penanganannya. Dalam hal ini Subbagian Humas menghasilkan news release produk dan video yang diposting melalui Instagram. Proses produksi berita dibagi menjadi 3 (tiga) bagian, yaitu pra-acara, selama acara, dan pasca-acara. Pra-acara adalah tahap persiapan peliputan dan pemberitaan. Prosesnya meliputi penyusunan jadwal, pembentukan tim liputan dan liputan berita, serta penyiapan peralatan. Kemudian, selama acara berlangsung para fotografer akan mengambil gambar, videografer merekam video, dan reporter menulis informasi dan merekam pidato. Terakhir, pasca acara dimana tim akan memindahkan data, menulis rilis berita, mengedit foto dan video, dan merilis berita di akun instagram.

Public relation has an important role in assisting the process of disseminating government policies and services to the community. This final project aims to discuss the profile of the Public Relations Sub Division of the Nganjuk Regency Government and the news production process about the Selopuro Landslide Disaster on Instagram. This study uses a qualitative approach. The main data collection method that the author uses is interviews with several relevant informants. The data that has been collected is grouped based on the purpose of writing the final project by the writer. Sub-Division of Public Relations of the Nganjuk Regency Government which has a duty function in news production related to documentation of Nganjuk Regency government activities. Selopuro landslide disaster is a disaster that occurred in Nganjuk Regency and involved the government in the process of handling it. In this case, the Public Relations Subdivision produces product news releases and videos posted via Instagram. The News Production Process is divided into 3 (three) parts, namely pre-event, during-event, and post-event. Pre-event is where the preparation stage news production process happens. The process includes arranging schedules, forming a news production team, and preparing equipment. Then, during the event is where the photographers will take pictures, videographers shoot videos, and reporters write information and record speeches. Last, post-event is where the team will transfer the data, writing news releases, editing photo and video, and releasing the news at its Instagram account.
