Pengaruh tayangan film religius terhadap religiusitas anak

2002 | Tesis | S2 PsikologiPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh tayangan film religius dalam meningkatkan religiusitas an& serta memberikan deskripsi tentang sejauhmana pengaruhnya. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah: (1) perlakuan tayangan film religius disertai komentar dan tanya jawab lebih memngkatkan religiusitas anak dibanhgkan perlakuan tayangan film religius tanpa komentar dan tanya jawab, (2) perlakuan tayangan film religius disertai komentar dan tanya jawab lebih meningkatkan religiusitas anak dibandmgkan tanpa perlakuan, dan (3) perlakuan tayangau film religius tanpa komentar dan tanya jawab lebih meningkatkan religiusitas anak dibandhgkan tanpa perlakuan. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 orang siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri 83 di Kotamadya Palembang, berusia 11 - 13 tahun yang terbagi dalam enam kelompok. Rancangan eksperimen yang digunakan adalah Treatments by Level Design. Religiusitas dalam hal ini diukur dengan skala religiusitas yang disusun berdasarkan dimensi-dimensi religiusitas seperti yang dikmukakan oleh Glock dan Stark, sedangkan tingkat pendidikan agama yang diperoleh anak di rumah diukur den- skala pendidikan agama di rumah yang disusun berdasarkan teori tentang unsur-unsur pendidikan. Selain itu, pengumpulan data juga dilakukan dengan menggunakau metode observasi, wawancara dan studi kasus. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Anahis kuantitatif dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik Two Ways Anova. Hasil yang dperoleh menunjukkan tidak adanya pengaruh yang signifikan tayangan film religius terhadap peningkatan religiusitas anak. Dengan demikian, hipotesis ditolak. Ditolaknya hipotesis kemungkman disebabkan oleh dua faktor, yaitu faktor kelemahan alat ukur yang digunakan dan faktor seleksi dari subjek. Akan tetapi, analisis tambahan dan analisis kualitatif yang dilakukan berdasarkan data observasi dan wawancara justru menunjukkan adanya pengaruh tayangan film religius dalam meningkatkan religiusitas an&, meski relatif sediktt dan tidak permanen.
The purpose of this research was to examine empirically the effects of religious films in increasing children’s religiosity and described how far its influence on them. The hypothesis stated that (1) the treatments of religious films plus comment and discussion between teachers and students will increase children’s religiosity more than the treatments of religious films without comment and discussion, (2) the treatments of religious films plus comment and discussion between teachers and students will increase children’s religiosity more than without treatment, and (3) the treatments of religious films without comment and discussion will increase children’s religiosity more than without treatment. The subject of the research were 30 students of State Elementary School 83 in Palembang, 11 - 13 year olds, and divided in six groups. The experimental design used was Treatment by Level Design. The religiosity was measured by religiosity scale designed by researcher based on the dimensions of religiosity as stated by Glock and Stark, whereas the level of religious education at home was measured by using the scale of religious education at home based on the theory of education elements. The method of obsmation, interview and case study were also used in the data gathering. The data were analyzed by quantitative and qualitative analyses. Two Ways Anova used in quantitative analyses showed that the religious films had no significant effects in increasing children’s religiosity. Thus, the hypotheses were rejected. The rejected hypotheses were caused by two factors, namely the weaknesses of the scales and selection factors fiom subjects. But, the additional analyses and qualitative analyses showed the effects in increasing children’s religiosity even insubstantial and impermanent.
