TINGKAT PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT DAN STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN KEGIATAN KEBUN BIBIT DESA (KBD) DI KTH WONOSARI TANI IV DESA WONOREJO, KECAMATAN JATIYOSO, KABUPATEN KARANGANYAR Oleh: Nanda Eka Pertiwi Prasetyo Nugroho INTI SARI Kawasan Hulu Daerah Aliran Sungai Samin merupakan daerah kritis yang rawan terhadap berbagai bencana alam. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan kegiatan rehabilitasi hutan dan lahan (RHL) yang didukung oleh program pembibitan Kebun Bibit Desa (KBD). Dalam mencapai keberhasilan KBD diperlukan partisipasi masyarakat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di KTH Wonosari Tani IV Desa Wonorejo menggunakan metode survei yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat partisipasi pada KBD dan juga rumusan strategi pengembangan KBD. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan KBD tergolong dalam kategori rendah untuk tahap perencanaan (36,75%), kategori sedang pada tahap pelaksanaan (57,78%) dan kategori rendah pada tahap evaluasi (37,50 %). Selain itu, terdapat beberapa rumusan strategi dalam KBD yaitu (1) Membangun Pengelolaan kebun pembibitan oleh masyarakat desa sebagai usaha (2) Mendorong peningkatan pemanfaatan lahan pembibitan sesuai dengan jenis bibit yang dibutuhkan dan diminati masyarakat (3) Meningkatkan kapasitas SDM (4) Melakukan pembentukan dan penguatan kelembagaan kelompok tani dan kelembagaan desa dalam pembibitan (5) Peningkatan penanaman jenis bibit dan jumlah bibit yang diminati masyarakat secara intensif (6) Meningkatkan kualitas bibit dan pemeliharaan tanaman secara intensif untuk keberhasilan panen yang tinggi (7) Melakukan kerjasama dengan pemerintah, masyarakat dan lembaga lainnya untuk memaksimalkan hasil dari kegiatan pembibitan (8) Melakukan kerjasama dengan pemerintah, masyarakat dan lembaga lainnya untuk memaksimalkan hasil dari kegiatan pembibitan.

COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION LEVEL AND DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES KBD IN KTH WONOSARI TANI IV WONOREJO VILLAGE, JATIYOSO DISTRICT, KARANGANYAR REGENCY By: Nanda Eka Pertiwi Prasetyo Nugroho ABSTRACT The upstream area of the Samin watershed is a critical area that is prone to various natural disasters. Therefore, forest and land rehabilitation activities (RHL) are needed that are supported by Kebun Bibit Desa (KBD). To reach KBD program we are need citizen participation. This research was did in KTH Wonosari Tani IV Wonorejo Village by survey method that aims to know the level of participation in KBD and formulate a strategy for developing KBD. The results of this research that the level of community participation in KBD activities is classified in the low category for the planning stage (36.75%), the medium category at the implementation stage (57.78%) and the low category at the evaluation stage (37.50%). In addition, there are several strategic formulations in the KBD, namely (1) Building nursery management by rural communities as a business (2) Encouraging increased use of nursery land in accordance with the types of seeds needed and in demand by the community (3) Increasing human resource capacity (4) Establishing and institutional strengthening of farmer groups and village institutions in nurseries (5) Increasing the planting of types of seeds and the number of seeds that are of interest to the community intensively (6) Improving seed quality and intensive plant maintenance for high harvest success (7) Cooperating with government, community and other institutions to maximize the results of nursery activities (8) Cooperating with government, community and other institutions to maximize the results of nursery activities.
