Respons Penawaran Kakao di Indonesia

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi respons penawaran kakao di Indonesia melalui luas areal tanaman menghasilkan dan produktivitas tanaman, serta untuk mengetahui elastisitas penawaran kakao dalam jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang di Indonesia. Metode dasar yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analitis dengan model penyesuaian parsial Nerlove yang kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan OLS. Data yang digunakan adalah data time series selama 30 tahun dari 1990 - 2019. Berdasarkan hasil estimasi respons luas areal tanaman menghasilkan, diketahui bahwa hanya satu faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap luas areal tanaman menghasilkan, yaitu luas areal tanaman menghasilkan tahun sebelumnya. Sementara itu, pada respons produktivitas, faktor- faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas tanaman adalah harga kakao tahun sebelumnya, harga CPO tahun sebelumnya, tingkat suku bunga kredit tahun t, dan tingkat suku bunga kredit tahun sebelumnya. Elastisitas penawaran kakao di Indonesia dalam jangka pendek dan jangka panjang bersifat inelastis dan tidak signifikan secara statistik, artinya penawaran kakao tidak responsif terhadap perubahan harga kakao.

This study aims to determine the factors that influence cocoa supply response in Indonesia through the area of mature plantations along with crop productivity and to determine the elasticity of cocoa supply in the short and long term in Indonesia. The method used is the descriptive-analytical method with Nerlove's partial adjustment model which is then analyzed using OLS. The data used are time-series data for 30 years from 1990 - 2019. Based on the estimated response to the area of mature plantations, only one factor affects the area of mature plantations, it is namely the area of mature plants in the previous year. Meanwhile, on the productivity response, the factors that affect crop productivity are the price of cocoa in the previous year, the price of CPO in the previous year, the interest rate in year t, and the interest rate in the previous year. The elasticity of cocoa supply in Indonesia in the short and long term is inelastic and not statistically significant, meaning that cocoa supply is not responsive to changes in cocoa prices.
