Ensiklopedia Zanenna Ikimono Jiten Motto Omoshiroi Fushigi: Zannendatte Iijanaika memperkenalkan sisi tak terduga dari evolusi mahkluk hidup. Ensiklopedia ini diterjemahkan dengan menggunakan metode penerjemahan komunikatif. Alasan penggunaan metode ini adalah agar pembaca dapat memahami isi cerita dengan baik dan dapat memahami informasi mengenai mahkluk hidup yang ditulis oleh pengarang ensiklopedia ini. Ensiklopedia ini dipilih karena sangat menarik dan dapat membuat pembacanya kagum pada kehidupan mahkluk hidup. Isi ensiklopedia ini memberikan gambaran tentang sejarah evolusi, serta penjelasan mengenai kehidupan makhluk hidup yang mengagumkan, mulai dari kemampuan hingga keistimewaannya. Setiap makhluk hidup pastinya memiliki kemampuan yang berbeda-beda, hal tersebut juga akan diklasifikasikan dalam ensiklopedia ini. Dalam menerjemahkan ensiklopedia ini terdapat beberapa kesulitan yang ditemui, salah satunya adalah mencari padanan kata dalam bahasa Indonesia. Kata “ざんねんな” yang terdapat di judul “ざんねんな生き物辞典”yang berarti ‘Bukti Mengagumkan’. Sulit untuk menemukan kata yang tepat untuk judul yang bisa menggambarkan isi ensiklopedia ini. Namun, karena terdapat situs yang memuat informasi tentang buku ini, maka memudahkan pemahaman saat menerjemahkan. Selain memberikan informasi terkait kehidupan mahkluk hidup, ensikopedia ini juga membawa pembaca untuk lebih sadar akan pentingnya menumbuhkan rasa kasih sayang serta kesadaran akan pentingnya menjaga ekosistem makhluk hidup.

Zannenna Ikimono Jiten Motto Omoshiroi Shinka no Fushigi: Zannendatte Iijanaika introduces the unexpected side of the creature’s evolution. This encyclopedia is translated using the communicative method. The reason to use this method is to make readers can understand the contents of the story well and understand the information about the creatures that the author of this encyclopedia wrote. This encyclopedia is chosen because it is interesting content and it amazes the reader of the creature’s life. The contents of this encyclopedia given representation about the creature’s evolution, and also explain the amazing of the creature’s life, start from the ability to the peculiarity that the creatures have. Certainly, every creature has different abilities, that are classified in this encyclopedia. There is some obstacles encountered in the translation process. For example, is the problem to find a suitable translation for the word “ざんねんな” that was on title “ざんねんな生き物辞典” that later translated into ‘The amazing evidence’. It was hard to find the right translation for the book’s title because it should lead the reader to imagine the content of this encyclopedia. However, there is a website that explains the information about this book, which helped the translator. Besides giving the information about the creatures, this encyclopedia also brings the readers to more realized the importance to have affection toward the creatures and also awareness of the importance to always keep the ecosystem of the creatures.
