Prediksi tekanan pori sangat diperlukan pada aktivitas eksplorasi hingga pengembangan lapangan minyak dan gas bumi. Prediksi yang akurat dapat menentukan berat jenis lumpur pemboran yang tepat sehingga menjadikan aktivitas pemboran sumur di industri minyak dan gas bumi lebih efektif, aman, dan efisien. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menghitung tekanan pori pada daerah Green Canyon, Gulf of Mexico dan Cekungan Krishna-Godavari, India. Perhitungan tekanan pori menggunakan metode Eaton, Bowers dan Miller. Parameter yang digunakan berupa log gamma ray, sonic, dan densitas. Untuk selanjutnya hasil perhitungan metode-metode tersebut dibandingkan dengan log tekanan hasil observasi. Hasil perhitungan tekanan pori menggunakan metode Eaton pada daerah Green Canyon, Gulf of Mexico (GOM) dan Cekungan Krishna-Godavari memiliki nilai error yang lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan hasil perhitungan dengan metode Bowers dan Miller. Hasil perhitungan menggunakan metode Bowers dan Miller memiliki tren yang sama dengan tren grafik dari Sv (tekanan overburden).

Pore pressure prediction is needed in oil and gas exploration. Accurate prediction can determine the precise density of drilling mud, making well drilling activities in the oil and gas industry more effective, safe, and efficient. This study aims to calculate pore pressures in the Green Canyon, Gulf of Mexico and Krishna-Godavari Basin, India. The calculation of pore pressure uses Eaton, Bowers and Miller methods. The parameters that we used are log gamma ray, sonic, and density. For further, the results of the calculation of these methods are compared with the observation pressure log. The results of pore pressure calculations using the Eaton method in the Green Canyon, Gulf of Mexico (GOM) and the Krishna-Godavari Basin have lower error values than Bowers and Miller methods. The results of calculations using the Bowers and Miller method have the same trend as the trend graph of Sv (overburden pressure).
