Koohii Mame Wo Oikakete: Chikyuu Ga Kakaeru Mondai Ga Nettairin de Miete Kuru adalah buku karya Harada Kazuhiro. Buku ini membahas hasil penelitian seputar kopi di daerah Sumatra, Indonesia. Dalam Tugas Akhir ini, hanya bab I dan bab 2 yang diterjemahkan. Bab I berjudul Koohii To Ningen No Nagai Rekishii memiliki 5 sub-bab yang menjelaskan awal mula kopi ditemukan dan penyebaran kopi di seluruh dunia. Bab 2, halaman 18-24 berjudul Koohii Mame Wa Tanenanda menjelaskan seputar pohon kopi dan kawasan budidaya kopi di Indonesia. Buku ini dipilih karena topik yang dibahas menarik, informatif dan mudah dipahami. Metode komunikatif diterapkan karena kebutuhan untuk menciptakan rasa yang paling dekat dengan pembaca. Penerjemah menggunakan metode ini agar pembaca dapat memahami makna yang disampaikan oleh penulis buku dengan mudah. Proses penerjemahan berjalan lancar dan penuh semangat karena topik sesuai dengan minat penerjemah. Antusiasme penerjemah juga membantu dalam memahami pesan pada buku karena sebagian tata bahasa dan kosa kata telah dipelajari selama kuliah. Ada beberapa kendala yang ditemui selama proses penerjemahan, salah satunya sulit menemukan padanan kata dari bahasa sumber agar dapat tersampaikan dengan baik dalam bahasa sasaran. Masalah-masalah tersebut dapat diatasi dengan mencari arti dan penjelasan kata atau frasa yang susah dipahami melalui internet. Cara lain yaitu dengan berdiskusi dengan kakak tingkat, dan dosen.

Koohii Mame Wo Oikakete: Chikyuu Ga Kakaeru Mondai Ga Nettairin de Miete Kuru is a book written by Harada Kazuhiro. This book discusses the results of research on coffee in Sumatra, Indonesia. In this final paper, only chapter I and chapter 2 have been translated. Chapter I, Koohii To Ningen No Nagai Rekishii has 5 sub-chapters that explain the origin of coffee discovered and the spread of coffee around the world. Chapter 2, pages 18-24, Koohii Mame Wa Tanenanda explains coffee trees and coffee cultivation areas in Indonesia. This book was chosen because the topics were interesting, informative, and easy to understand. The communicative method was applied because of the need to create the closest sense to the reader. By using this method, the reader could understand the meaning conveyed by the author of the book easily. The translation process went smooth and full of enthusiasm because the topics were the translator's interests. Enthusiasm was also helping the translator in understanding the message in the book because most of the grammar and vocabulary had been learned during the lecture. There are some obstacles encountered during the translation process. For example, it is difficult to find the equivalent words from the source language so that they can be conveyed properly in the target language. These problems can be overcome by searching for the meaning and explanation of words or phrases that are difficult to understand on the internet, the other solution is to discuss it with seniors, and lecturers.
