PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN PRAKTIK KERJA LAPANGAN DI DEPARTEMEN LAYANAN DAN INFORMASI KESEHATAN SEKOLAH VOKASI UGM

Latar Belakang: Manajemen praktik kerja lapangan (PKL) di Departemen Layanan dan Informasi Kesehatan Sekolah Vokasi UGM hampir seluruhnya dilaksanakan secara manual. Presensi, pengisian logbook, serta penilaian dilakukan dengan menggunakan kertas yang kemudian harus dikumpulkan kepada pihak departemen pada waktu dan tempat yang sudah ditentukan. Adapun penggunaan teknologi hanya berupa google formulir yang digunakan untuk pendaftaran mahasiswa PKL serta sebagai logbook elektronik mahasiswa selama pandemi covid-19 berlangsung. Penggunaan google formulir ini belum membantu efektivitas manajemen PKL karena dalam penyimpanan dan pengolahannya membutuhkan proses export serta editing dalam bentuk Microsoft Excel terlebih dahulu. Tujuan: Membuat perancangan sistem informasi manajemen praktik kerja lapangan di Departemen Layanan dan Informasi Kesehatan Sekolah Vokasi UGM. Metode: Perancangan ini menggunakan metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan model waterfall. Analisis kebutuhan sistem dilakukan melalui proses wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan observasi dengan subjek perancangan yang terdiri dari kepala laboratorium, laboran, dan mahasiswa. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan dalam membuat perancangan adalah aplikasi Ms. Visio, Lucidchart, dan Figma. Hasil: Hasil perancangan terdiri dari rancangan Unified Modeling Language (UML) yaitu 19 use case diagram dan 23 activity diagram, rancangan basis data, serta rancangan tampilan antarmuka. Kesimpulan: Pembuatan rancangan sistem informasi manajemen praktik kerja lapangan telah sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan disetujui oleh pengguna.

Background: The management of fieldwork practices (PKL) in the Department of Health Information and Services at the UGM Vocational School is almost entirely done manually. Attendance, logbook filling, as well as assessments are carried out using paper which must then be submitted to the department at a predetermined time and place. The use of technology is only in the form of google forms which are used for registration of street vendors and as student electronic logbooks during the covid-19 pandemic. The use of google forms has not helped the effectiveness of street vendors management because storage and processing require export and editing processes in Microsoft Excel form first. Objective: Designing a fieldwork practice management information system in the Department of Health Information and Services at the UGM Vocational School. Method: This design uses the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with the waterfall model. System requirements analysis is carried out through an interview process, documentation study, and observation with the design subject consisting of the head of the laboratory, laboratory assistant, and students. The software used in making the design is Ms. Visio, Lucidchart, and Figma. Results: The design results consist of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) design, namely 19 use case diagrams and 23 activity diagrams, database design, and interface design. Conclusion: The design of the fieldwork practice management information system has been following the needs and approved by the user.
