KADAR TOTAL PROTEIN PLASMA PADA KUCING SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH PEMBERIAN ANESTESI CAMPURAN KETAMINXYLASIN DAN KETAMIN-ACEPROMASIN

2012 | Skripsi | S1 KEDOKTERAN HEWANPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pemberian anestesi campuran ketamin-xylasin dan ketamin-acepromasin terhadap kadar Total Protein Plasma pada kucing. Sepuluh ekor kucing jantan ras lokal dengan berat dua sampai tiga kilogram dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok. Kelompok pertama diberi anestesi campuran ketamin-xylasin (dosis ketamin 15 mg/kg BB, dosis xylasin 2 mg/kg BB) dan kelompok kedua diberi anestesi campuran ketamin-acepromasin (dosis ketamin 15 mg/kg BB, dosis acepromasin 0,5 mg/10 kg BB). Darah kucing diambil sebelum dan setelah pemberian anestesi guna membandingkan kadar Total Protein Plasma. Hasil penelitian pada kelompok pertama menunjukkan bahwa perbandingan kadar total protein plasma sebelum dan sesudah pemberian anestesi campuran ketamin-xylasin adalah tidak berbeda secara nyata (p>0,05). Begitu juga pada kelompok kedua, perbandingan kadar total protein plasma sebelum dan sesudah pemberian anestesi campuran ketamin-acepromasin adalah tidak berbeda secara nyata (p>0,05). Berdasar hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian anestesi campuran ketamin-xylasin maupun ketamin-acepromasin pada kucing tidak mempengaruhi kadar total protein plasma.
This study aims to examine the effect of adding ketamine-xylazine and ketamine-acepromazine against the level of total protein plasma on cat. Ten male cats’ local breed with a weight of two to three kilograms were divide into two groups. The first group was given ketamine-xylazine (doses of ketamine 15 mg/kg BW, doses of xylazine 2 mg/kg BW) and the second group was given ketamine-acepromazine (doses of ketamine 15 mg/kg BW, doses of acepromazine 0,5 mg/10kg BW). The blood of cats was taken before and after administering anesthesia to compare of the level of total protein plasma. The result of this study on first group showed that the comparison of the level of total protein plasma before and after administering ketamine-xylazine was not significantly different (p>0,05). And also the second group, the comparison of the level of total protein plasma before and after administering ketamine-acepromazine was not significantly (p>0,05). Based on the result of these studies concluded that the addition of ketamine-xylazine and ketamine-acepromazine on cat does not affect the level of total protein plasma.
