PENGARUH PEMBERIAN DAUN BINAHONG (Anredera cordifolia) PADA KESEMBUHAN LUKA IRIS KULIT DOMBA (Ovis aries) HARI KE- 9 SECARA MIKROSKOPIK

Penel itian dilakukan untuk mengetahui efek daun binahong (Anredera cordifolia) terhadap kesembuhan luka iris pada domba lokal ( Ovis aries). Enam ekor domba yang digunakan berjenis kelamin betina dan berumur 7- 9 bulan. Keenam domba dibagi dalam tiga kelompok perlakuan. Kelompok I sebagai kontrol tanpa diberi perlakuan, kelompok II diberi olesan daun binahong 100%, dan kelompok III diberi olesan daun binahong 50%. Luka iris dibuat pada masing - masing domba secara aseptis. Luka dibuat di dua tempat masing - masing sisi flank kanan dan kiri sepanjang 10 cm. Setelah hari ke 9, sebagian j aringan kesembuhan luka yg telah bertaut diambil sampel seluas 2 x 2 cm dengan mempreparir secara hati - hati untuk memisahkan dengan jaringa n dibawahnya, kemudian dimasukan ke larutan formalin 10% untuk pemeriksaan histologi. Sampel jaringan untuk pemeriksaan histologi dikirim ke Laboratorium Mikroanatomi Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan untuk dibuat preparat histologi dengan pewarnaan Hematoksilin-Eosin (HE) untuk sel leukosit dan fibroblas serta Trikom Mallory untuk serabut kolagen . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak A. cordifolia dengan pengenceran 50% cukup efektif pada proses kesembuhan luka. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifika n (P<0,05) antara kelompok kontrol dan perlakuan binahong (100% dan 50%).

The study was aimed to determine the effect of leaf binahong ( Anredera cordifolia) o n wound healing process in skin wound incision of local sheep (Ovis aries). S ix sheep is used which have female sex and aged about 7- 9 months. The six sheeps were divided into three treatment groups. Group I as a control group without any treatment, group II was given a smear of leaf binahong 100%, and group III was given a smear of leaf binahong 50%. Incision wound was made on each sheep with aseptic technique . Wounds made in two places each side of right and left flank along 10 cm. After day 9, put some wound healing tissue samples from wound skin which have been linked area of 2 x 2 cm with carefully to separate the tissue underneath . After this, put into 10% form alin solution for histological examination. Tissue samples for histological examination sent to Microanatomy Laboratory of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine to be made histological preparations stained with Hem atoxcylin - Eosin (HE) for leukocyte and fibrob last and Trikom Mallory for collagen fibers. The results showed that the extract of A. cordifolia with a dilution of 50% is effective in wound healing process. There are significant differences (P <0.05) between control and treatment binahong (100% and 50%)
