NRIMA ING PANDUM SEBAGAI STRATEGI PENANGGULANGAN STRES SISWA DI DAERAH PEDESAAN PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID 19

Stres selama masa pembelajaran jarak jauh memberikan arti bahwa pandemi Covid-19 membawa dampak buruk pada kesehatan mental siswa. Dalam kondisi ini, strategi penanggulangan stres sangat diperlukan untuk menanggulangi masalah stres seseorang. Studi terdahulu menemukan bahwa strategi penanggulangan stres memiliki keragaman bentuk, dan dipengaruhi salah satunya oleh aspek nilai budaya setempat. Meski demikian belum terdapat kajian mengenai strategi penanggulangan stres pada siswa di masa pandemi dengan tinjauan budaya. Studi ini mencoba melengkapi studi terdahulu dengan menggali nilai-nilai budaya yang dapat diimplementasikan sebagai strategi penanggulangan stres siswa di daerah pedesaan selama masa pandemi. Studi ini menggunakan metode wawancara dan observasi pada sosial media informan untuk memperkuat data primer. Wawancara dilakukan kepada siswa yang terlibat langsung dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh serta guru sebagai check and balance dari informasi umum. Terdapat tiga temuan utama dalam penelitian ini. Pertama, stres yang dialami siswa disebabkan oleh faktor tekanan tugas sekolah, kejenuhan terhadap proses pembelajaran daring, serta kecemasan terhadap ketidak pastian masa depan. Kedua, siswa mengalami berbagai kendala selama proses pembelajaran jarak jauh, antara lain; kendala dalam penguasaan materi, fasilitas penunjang pembelajaran daring tidak memadai, kendala emosi, dan kendala lingkungan. Ketiga, siswa menggunakan dua strategi penanggulangan stres dalam merespon stres selama pebelajaran daring, yaitu problem-focused coping serta emotion-focused coping. Nilai nrima ing pandum digunakan siswa di daerah pedesaan sebagai salah satu strategi penanggulangan stres selama menjalani pembelajaran jarak jauh. Bersandar temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai nrima ing pandum telah menjadi mentalitas masyarakat pedesaan yang diterima secara turun temurun dan dapat dijadikan sebagai strategi dalam menanggulangi stres. Stress during school from home activity making meaning that the covid-19 pandemic bring worse implication on students mental health. In this situation, coping with stress is necessary to cope with people's problems. Previous studies found more strategy for coping with stress manifestation, and it is affected by local cultural values. Nevertheless, there are no studies about students strategy for coping with stress in the pandemic era from a cultural perspective. This study aims to complement the previous studies. This study tries to find cultural values as students strategy for coping with stress during the pandemic era. Method of this study use interview and observation method on informant social media to strengthen primer data. Interviewed informants are students who were directly schooling from the home activity and a teacher as a check and balance of general information. Three main findings of this study are, first, students' stress caused by the pressure of school assignments, burnout of the learning process, and anxiety of future uncertainty. Second findings are the students had various problems during the school from home activity, including; problems in understanding the lesson, lack of learning support facilities, self emotional uncontrol, and other distractions in their environment. Third, students used two strategy for coping with stress during school from home activities. That is problem-focused coping and emotion-focused coping. Nrima values are used by students in rural areas as a strategy to deal with stress during school from home activity. These findings indicate that the value of Nrima ing pandum has become the mentality of rural communities that have been accepted from generation to generation and can be used as a strategy for coping with stress.
