Hubungan antara persepsi anak sekolah tentang kegiatan UKS dan kejadian kecacingan di SD Kecamatan Banyuurip Kabupaten Purworejo

Berbagai masalah kejadian kecacingan yang dihadapi anak sekolah disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, diantaranya kebersihan perorangan; sanitasi lingkungan, sosial ekonoini di masyarakat serta kurang terpadunya penanggulangan penyakit antara pemerint&, masyarakat dan instansi yang terkait. Kenyataan ini berhubungan pula dengan persepsi anak sekolah tentang kegiatan Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS). Dalam kegiatannya, UKS disebut dengan Trias UKS yang meliputi: pendidikan kesehatan, pelayanan kesehatan dan lingkungan kehidupan sekolah sehat. Dengan baiknya persepsi anak sekolah tentang kegiatan UKS, diharapkan kejadian kecacingan akan rendah dan penularan penyakit kecacingan dapat dikurangi. Tujuan. Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi anak sekolah tentang kegiatan UKS dan kejadian kecacingan. Metode. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah Cross sectional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, subjek penelitian siswa didik kelas V dan VI sekolah dasar. Respoden sebanyak 343 anak. Analisa data menggunakan uji chi square dan uji logistic regressron dengan taraf kemaknaan 5% (K = 0,05). Hasil penelitian. Menunjukkan 1) Persepsi anak sekolah tentang pendidikan kesehatan berhubungan bermakna dengan kejadian kecacingan; 2) Persepsi anak sekolah tentang pelayanan kesehatan berhubungan bermakna dengan kejadian kecacingan; 3) Persepsi anak sekolah tentang lingkungan kehidupan sekolah sehat tidak berhubungan dengan kejadian kecacingan; 4) Persepsi anak sekolah tentang kegiatan UKS berhubungan bennakna dengan kejadian kecacingan. Kesimpulan. Kegiatan UKS yang baik merupakan salah satu cara untuk menurunkan kejadian kecacingan, dan dapat memutuskan rantai penularan penyakit kecacingan pada anak sekolah.
Background: Various problem of intestinal worm diseases that faced by students was caused by various factors such as individual hygiene, environment sanitation and social economy in community as well as less integrated of disease control between government, community and related institutions. This fact had relationship with perception of school children about attempts of school health ( U r n . In the implementation, UKS that called as Trim UKS consist of: health education, health service and healthy school life environment. A good perception of school children about UKS implementation was expected that the incident of intestinal worm disease problem would be low and the transmission of the disease could be decreased. Objective: To know the relationship between perception of school children about UKS implementation and intestinal worm disease incident. Method: This research was using cross sectional design with quantitative approach. The subjects of this research were 343 primary school students of grade V and grade VI. Data Analysis was using Chi Square and logistic regression tests with significance value of 5% and C1 of 95%. Result: The result of this research showed that 1) there was significant relationship between perception of school children about health education with the incident of intestinal worm disease; 2) there was significant relationship between health service with the incident of intestinal worm disease; 3) there was no relationship between perception of school children about healthy school life environment with the incident of intestinal worm disease; 4) there was significant relationship between perception of school children about UKS implementation with the incident of intestinal worm disease. Conclusion: A good implementation of UKS is one of the ways to decrease the incident of intestinal worm disease and to break the chain of disease transmission of intestinal worm disease.
