PENGARUH SUPLEMENTASI TEPUNG BIJI BUAH ATUNG (Parinarium glaberrimum Hassk.) DALAM PAKAN TERHADAP TINGKAT KEASAMAN SALURAN PENCERNAAN AYAM BROILER

2021 | Skripsi | S1 ILMU DAN INDUSTRI PETERNAKANPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh suplementasi tepung biji buah atung (Parinarium glaberrimum Hassk.) dalam pakan terhadap tingkat keasaman saluran pencernaan ayam broiler. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan 168 ekor ayam broiler umur sehari yang dipelihara selama 35 hari dalam kandang unggas sistem semi-tertutup. Setiap ayam dalam penelitian ini mendapatkan salah satu dari enam perlakuan pakan, yaitu: ransum basal tanpa penambahan aditif (PG-0; kontrol negatif), ransum basal + Tetrasiklin 50 ppm (PG-1; kontrol positif), ransum basal + 0,5% tepung biji buah atung (PG-2), ransum basal + 1,0% tepung biji buah atung (PG-3 ), ransum basal + 2,0% tepung biji buah atung (PG-4), dan ransum basal + 4,0% tepung biji buah atung (PG-5). Setiap perlakuan diberikan replikasi 4 kali, masing-masing dengan 7 ekor ayam di setiap kandang replikasi. Data yang diamati adalah pH saluran pencernaan meliputi tembolok, proventrikulus, gizzard, duodenum, jejunum, ileum, dan sekum. Data dianalisis statistik menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap pola searah berbasis nilai P kurang dari 5%. Data dengan perbedaan yang nyata diuji lanjut menggunakan Duncan new multiple range test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suplementasi pakan dengan tepung biji buah atung hingga level 4% tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap tingkat keasaman gizzard. Namun demikian, penambahan 2-4% tepung biji buah atung menaikkan (P<0,05) tingkat keasaman tembolok, proventrikulus, duodenum, jejunum, ileum, dan sekum.
This study was conducted to determine the effects of dietary atung (Parinarium glaberrimum Hassk.) fruit seed meal supplementations on acidity level in the gut of broiler chickens. This study used 168 day old broiler chickens that were raised for 35 days in a semi-closed house poultry site. Each chicken in this study received one of six treatments diets: basal diet (PG-0; negative control), basal diet + Tetracycline 50 ppm (PG-1; positive control), basal diet + 0,5% atung fruit seed meal (PG-2), basal diet + 1,0% atung fruit seed meal (PG-3), basal diet + 2,0% atung fruit seed meal (PG-4), dan basal diet + 4,0% atung fruit seed meal (PG-5). Each treatment was replicated 4 times with 7 chickens in each replicate cage. The data collected were pH of the crop, proventiculus, gizzard, duodenum, jejunum, ileum, and cecum. The obtained data were statistically analyzed using Oneway Analysis of variance based on the P value of less than 5%. Data with significant differences were further tested using Duncan new multiple range test. Results showed that dietary addition with atung fruit seed meal up to 4% did not give any effect on the acidity level in gizzard. However, the acidity level of crop, proventriculus, duodenum, jejunum, ileum, and cecum were increased (P < 0.05) when the diets were supplemented with 2-4% atung fruit seed meal.
