Nama-Nama Tempat Usaha Berbahasa Prancis di Indonesia: Analisis Linguistik Lansekap

Penelitian ini berisi analisis mengenai dua permasalahan yaitu bentuk dan makna nama-nama tempat usaha berbahasa Prancis di Indonesia, Objek data penelitian ini adalah nama-nama tempat usaha berbahasa Prancis di sebelas kota metropolitan di Indonesia. Data penelitian bersumber dari hasil penelusuran melalui pencitraan media Google Maps dengan pengintegrasian situs pencarian Google, situs web usaha, dan media sosial. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode simak dan teknik catat. Kemudian diklasifikasikan menurut kesamaan karakteristik data dari segi bentuk dan makna. Analisis data menggunakan teori pembentukan frasa dalam tiga bahasa (Prancis, Inggris, Indonesia), teori Linguistik Lansekap, dan teori penamaan menurut Abdul Chaer. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh tiga tataran utama mengenai bentuk nama usaha yaitu tataran penulisan, gramatikal, dan struktur. Pada bentuk tataran penulisan terdapat variasi penulisan yaitu ketiadaan accent, pelesapan huruf, dan penggabungan kata. Pada tataran gramatikal terdapat kesalahan gramatikal yaitu ketiadaan preposisi, ketidaksesuaian article, dan ketidaksesuaian accent. Pada tataran struktur terdapat variasi dari struktur dan kosakata jenis usaha yaitu struktur AT (Attribut+Tete) dengan jenis usaha berbahasa Inggris, berbahasa Prancis, berbahasa Indonesia, berbahasa campur, berbahasa asing lain; struktur TA (Tete+Attribut) dengan jenis usaha berbahasa Inggris, berbahasa Prancis, berbahasa Indonesia; dan struktur nama tanpa unsur jenis. Kemudian, makna yang terkandung dalam nama tempat usaha yaitu makna berdasarkan tempat asal Negara Prancis, tempat lokasi usaha, sifat khas/menonjol, kualitas, karakteristik makanan, harapan, nama pemilik, rasa makanan, kegiatan terkait, bahan, suasana/kondisi, dan ketiadaan keterkaitan makna.

This research contains some analysis about two problems, especially the form and meaning of the French-language business names in Indonesia. The object of this research data is the French-language business names in eleven metropolitan cities in Indonesia. The research data are sourced from search results through media imaging of Google Maps with the integration of Google search engine, business websites, and also social media. The collection of the data was using the observation and note-taking method. Then, they are classified according to similarities of the characteristics in terms of form and meaning. The analysis of data used the theory of ordering phrases in three different languages (French, English, Indonesian), landscape linguistic theory, and the theory of naming according to Abdul Chaer. Based on the result of this research, there are three main aspects regarding the form of a business name. Particularly the aspect of writing, grammar, and structure. In the form of writing aspect, there are variations in writing which are the absence of accents, punishing letters, and combining words. In the grammatical aspect, there are some grammatical errors. Such as the absence of prepositions, mismatches of articles, and inconsistencies of accents. At the structural aspect, there are some variations in the structure and vocabulary on the type of business. Those are the AT (Attribut+Tete) structure with type of business names in English, in French, in Indonesian, in mixed language, in other foreign languages; TA (Tete+Attribut) structure with type of business names in English, in French, in Indonesian; and name structure without type element. Then, the meaning contained in the business name is the meaning based on the place of origin (France), the location of the business, the distinctive/unique characteristics, the quality, the characteristics of the food, the expectations, the owner's name, the taste of the food, related activities, ingredients, atmosphere/conditions, and lack of connection of meaning.
