Hikayat Indra Maulana: Analisis Struktur Alur

Penelitian ini menggunakan objek material Hikayat Indra Maulana dan objek formal analisis struktur alur. Penelitian ini akan menjawab tiga permasalahan. Pertama, mendeskripsikan peristiwa-peristiwa dalam hikayat tersusun menjadi sebuah alur. Kedua, mendeskripsikan struktur tahapan alur dalam hikayat yang terbentuk dari peristiwa-peristiwa yang terjadi. Ketiga, mendeskripsikan konflik dan klimaks yang terdapat pada latar kerajaan yang disinggahi oleh tokoh utama. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analisis. Metode ini dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data melalui pembacaan naskah dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini mendeskripsikan unsur-unsur pembentuk alur dalam Hikayat Indra Maulana, yaitu peristiwa, episode, tahapan alur, konflik, dan klimaks. Terdapat dua alur dalam Hikayat Indra Maulana, yaitu alur bawahan dan alur utama. Alur tersebut digambarkan tidak kronologis namun tetap memiliki hubungan kausalitas dalam pembentukannya.

This study uses the Hikayat Indra Maulana material object and the formal object of the flow structure analysis. This research will answer three problems. First, to describe the events in the saga arranged into a plot. Second, to describe the structure of the plot stages in the saga which are formed from the events that occur. Third, to describe the conflict and the climax in the royal setting where the main character stops. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method. This method is done by collecting data through manuscript reading and literature study. The results of this study describe the elements that form the plot in Hikayat Indra Maulana, namely events, episodes, stages of the plot, conflicts, and climax. There are two lines in Hikayat Indra Maulana, namely the subordinate line and the main line. The plot is described as not chronological but still has a causal relationship in its formation.
