PERAN DOSEN PEMBIMBING AKADEMIK TERHADAP KEBERHASILAN PROSES BELAJAR DAN LAMA STUDI MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI MANAJEMEN DI STIE WIJAYA MULYA SURAKARTA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa peran dosen pembimbing akademik dalam keberhasilan proses belajar dan lama studi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini mengambil subyek 256 mahasiswa untuk menganalisa keberhasilan proses belajar, 78 mahasiswa untuk menganalisa lama studi, 6 Dosen Pembimbing Akademik dan Ketua Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Wijaya Mulya Surakarta. Hasil tabulasi kuesioner diolah dengan program SPSS dan hasil wawancara diolah melalui analisis tabel matriks. Hasil perhitungan uji t pada tingkat signifikasi 5% diperoleh hasil bahwa Peran Dosen Pembimbing Akademik berpengaruh terhadap Keberhasilan Proses Belajar. Sedangkan hasil perhitungan uji t pada tingkat signifikasi 5% diperoleh hasil bahwa Peran Dosen Pembimbing Akademik berpengaruh terhadap Lama Studi. Dari hasil analisis yang diperoleh menyatakan bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan Peran Dosen Pembimbing Akademik terhadap Keberhasilan Proses Belajar dan ada pengaruh Peran Dosen Pembimbing Akademik terhadap Lama Studi. Hasil analisis tersebut juga dibantu oleh analisis tabel matriks yang dilakukan kepada Ketua STIE Wijaya Mulya Surakata, Dosen Pembimbing Akademik dan perwakilan mahasiswa untuk tiap angkatan.

This research aims to analyze the role of academic advisors in the success of the learning process and study period of students. This research took 256 students as the subject to analyze the success of the learning proves, 78 students to analyze study period, 6 Academic advisors, and the Head of STIE Wijaya Mulya Surakarta. The tabulated questionnaire results were processed by using the SPSS program and the interview results processed by using matrix table analysis. The results of the t-test calculation at the 5% significance level showed that the role of the Academic Advisor has an effect on the success of the learning process. While the results of the t-test calculation at the 5% significance level, it is found that the role of the Academic Advisor has an effect on the study period. The results of the analysis obtained to state that a significant influence on the role of Academic Advisors on the success of the learning process and an effect of the role of Academic Advisors on the study period. The results of the analysis were also assisted by the analysis of the matrix table which carried out to the Head of STIE Wijaya Mulya Surakarta, Academic Advisors, and student representatives for each batch.
