KETERKAITAN ANTARA PENERAPAN INDIKATOR ISPO DENGAN PRODUKTIVITAS DAN PENDAPATAN USAHATANI KELAPA SAWIT DI KECAMATAN WAY SERDANG KABUPATEN MESUJI

Penerapan ISPO pada petani bertujuan untuk memelihara lingkungan, meningkatkan kegiatan ekonomi, dan penegakan peraturan perundangan Indonesia di bidang perkebunan kelapa sawit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahi produktivitas dan pendapatan usahatani kelapa sawit, (2) mengetahui tingkat pemahaman dan penerapan petani terkait dengan Indikator ISPO, (3) mengetahui pengaruh penerapan Indikator ISPO terhadap produktivitasa, dan (4) mengetahui hubungan antara penerapan indikator ISPO dan pendapatan usahatani. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Wayserdang Kabupaten Mesuji, metode penentuan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sebanyak 88 petani. Desa Hadimulyo yang merupakan sentra petani swadaya dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 38 petani, dan desa Margobakti yang merupakan sentra petani plasma berjumlah 50 petani. Pengukuran tingkat pemahaman dan penerapan Indikator ISPO yang direspon oleh petani dengan skala likert. Pengukuran pengaruh pemahaman terhadap penerapan Indikator ISPO dianalisis menggunanakan Regresi Linier Berganda, dan pengukuran hubungan penerapan indikator ISPO dengan pendapatan dianalisis menggunakan korelasi pearson. Hasil analisis menunjukkan produktivitas petani plasma lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan produktivitas petani swadaya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan pendapatan petani plasma lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan petani swadaya. Pemahaman dan penerapan Indikator ISPO pada petani swadaya dan plasma secara keseluruhan tergolong dalam kategori tinggi, pemahaman dan penerapan petani plasma lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan petani swadaya. Terdapat pengaruh positif antara jumlah tenaga kerja, uumur tanaman, jumlah pokok, penggunaan KCL dan penggunaan herbisida terhadap produktivitas. Terdapat hubungan yang positif antara penerapan indikator ISPO dengan pendapatan usahatani kelapa sawit.

The application of ISPO to smallholders aims to protect the environment, increase economic activity, and enforce Indonesian laws and regulations in the oil palm plantation sector. This study aims to: (1) determine the productivity and income of oil palm farming, (2) determine the level of understanding and application of farmers related to the ISPO Indicator, (3) determine the effect of implementing the ISPO Indicator on productivity, and (4) determine the relationship between the application of indicators. ISPO and farm income. This research was conducted in Wayserdang District, Mesuji Regency, the method of determining the sample was carried out purposively as many as 88 farmers. Hadimulyo Village which is a center for independent farmers with a total sample size of 38 farmers, and Margobakti Village which is a center for plasma farmers with a total of 50 farmers. Measuring the level of understanding and application of the ISPO Indicator to which farmers responded on a Likert scale. The measurement of the effect of understanding on the application of the ISPO indicator was analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression, and the measurement of the relationship between the application of the ISPO indicator and income was analyzed using the Pearson correlation. The analysis showed that the productivity of plasma farmers was higher than the productivity of independent smallholders. The analysis showed that the income of plasma farmers was higher than that of independent smallholders. The understanding and application of the ISPO Indicator for independent smallholders and plasma as a whole is in the high category, the understanding and application of the plasma smallholders is higher than that of independent smallholders. There is a positive effect between the number of workers, plant age, amount of staple, use of KCL and use of herbicides on productivity. There is a positive relationship between the application of the ISPO indicator and the income of oil palm farming.
