Hutan rakyat merupakan hutan yang terdapat pada lahan milik masyarakat. Pengelolaan hutan rakyat di Dusun Madigondo menerapkan sistem agroforestri dengan pola campur (random mixture). Analisis vegetasi, merupakan dasar penelitian gunaa mengetahui struktur dan komposisi penyusun hutan rakyat sebagai kegiatan pengembangan hutan rakyat. Dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan dengan pembuatan petak ukur 20 x 20 m dengan IS 1,7% dari total lahan pada 10 lahan milik (25% dari jumlah anggota kelompok tani). Berdasarkan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa struktur hutan rakyat di lokasi penelitian berlapis, dengan komposisi penyusun berjumlah 17 jenis. Jenis dominan pada tingkat tiang yaitu mahoni (INP 61,60 %) sedangkan untuk pohon yang dominan yaitu jati (INP 71,66 %).

The community forest is a forest established at land community ownership. The community forests in Madigondo managed by agroforestry system with random mixture pattern. Vegetation analysis, became the basis of this research with the aim of knowing the structure and composition of community forest as a step of its development. This research was conducted by making a 20 x 20 m plot with the sampling intensity of 1,7% from the total land on the 10 farmers land (25% of total farmer group members). Based on the research can be concluded that the community forest in Madigondo are multi stratum consist of 17 species. The pole stage dominated by mahogany (INP of 61.60%) while for the tree stage dominated by teak (INP of 71.66%).
