Fokus penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan bagimana kontestasi elit di Desa Bojasari, Kecamatan Kertek, Kabupaten Wonosobo yang terjadi melalui forum informal bernama Forum Komunikasi Masyarakat Bojasari (FKMB). Penelitian ini menarik dilakukan untuk memperlihatkan realita kontestasi elit yang juga terjadi dengan sengit di level desa dengan institusi informal. Peran institusi informal sebagai kendaraan elit untuk merebut kekuasaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendalami peran institusi informal dan dinamika kontestasi elit dan melihat hubungan antara kontestasi elit dengan mekanisme politik elektoral. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan kajian institusi informal dan elit. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif melalui studi kasus. Teknik analisa yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitis. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, data dokumen, dan analisis media. Obyek penelitian adalah institusi informal, elit menang dan elit kalah. Momentum pilkades memperlihatkan wajah ganda FKMB. Pertama, FKMB sebagai forum komunikasi antar dusun. Kedua, FKMB sebagai arena kontestasi. Pasca pilkades terbentuklah konfigurasi elit yang terdiri dari elit menang, elit kalah, elit setia, dan elit kecewa. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan penyebab utama kontestasi elit yang tidak dapat dilepaskan dari kepentingan untuk berkuasa. Kelompok elit kalah berhasil menggantikan elit lain setelah mampu menguasai ruang representasi, ruang ekonomi, dan ruang legitimasi.

The focus of this research is to explain how the elite's contestation in Bojasari,Kertek Wonosobo happened through an informal forum called the Bojasari Community Communication Forum (FKMB). This research is interesting to show the reality of elite contestation which also occurs fiercely at the village level with informal institutions. The role of informal institutions as elite vehicles to seize power. The purpose of this research is to explore the role of informal institutions and the dynamics of elite contestation and to see the relationship between elite contestation and electoral political mechanisms. This research will use the study of informal institutions and elite. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with case studies. The analysis technique used is descriptive analytical. The method of data collection was done by interview, observation, document data, and media analysis. The research object is the win elite and lose elite. Local electoral's momentum shows the double face of FKMB. First, FKMB as a communication forum between hamlets. Second, FKMB as a contestation arena. After the Pilkades, an elite configuration was formed consisting of winning elites, losing elites, loyal elites, and disappoint elites. This research reveals the main cause of elite contestation which cannot be separated from the interest to rule. The elite group failed to succeed in replacing other elites after being able to control the representation space, economic space, and space for legitimacy.
