Along with the times and technology, diesel engines are used as engines in vehicles, especially four-wheeled vehicles. With the development of technology in engineering, diesel engines are embedded with turbocharger technology to support the needs of vehicle users. The essence of this research is to show the difference in the performance of the pressure and power generated from a diesel engine that is attached to the turbocharger and not attached to the turbocharger. By using data from engine specifications and analysis using mathematical calculations, engine analyzers can perform surgery from the suction stroke to the exhaust stroke of the diesel engine. The diesel engine used is 2KD-FTV. Formulas were obtained in large part through Petrovsky's book: Diesel Marine Engine. Mathwork mobile is used to calculate complex calculations. The analysis results show that a diesel engine with a turbocharger has a much higher engine power with the same cylinder contents. There is a difference in the initial process pressure due to the use of a turbocharger device. The efficiency and final temperature of the combustion system also affects the use of a turbocharger.
