Tugas Akhir ini merupakan Terjemahan bagian Prolog, Bab I, dan 10 Halaman Bab II Light Novel Yookoso Jitsuryoku Shijoo Shugi no Kyooshitsu e karya Shoogo Kinugasa Volume 12. Novel ini bercerita tentang kehidupan seorang siswa jenius yang ingin hidup normal dalam menjalani masa sekolah di sekolah elite dengan jaminan 100% lulusannya untuk mendapat pekerjaan ataupun masuk universitas. Secara garis besar novel ini bercerita tentang kehidupan sekolah remaja dan semua cara untuk menghadapi semua ujian yang tidak normal di sana. Light Novel Yookoso Jitsuryoku Shijoo Shugi no Kyooshitsu e ini dipilih karena memiliki alur cerita yang menarik, dari masa lalu sang karakter utama yang misterius sampai tidak normalnya kompetisi demi lulus dari sekolah tersebut dan bagaimana cara bertahan hidup di sana. Cerita juga disisipi dengan romansa remaja dan komedi anak sekolahan. Cerita seperti ini diharapkan bisa menarik minat pembaca terutama remaja. Dalam menerjemahkan Light Novel Yookoso Jitsuryoku Shijoo Shugi no Kyooshitsu e ini terdapat beberapa kesulitan, salah satunya adalah hubungan antar percakapannya dan tata bahasa yang digunakan. Dalam proses penerjemahan, sangat diperhatikan penggunaan ungkapan bahasa yang mudah dipahami terutama untuk pembaca remaja sehingga pembaca merasa terhibur dan memahami cerita dari light novel ini.

This Final Project is a translation of the Prologue, Chapter I, and 10 Pages Chapter II Light Novel Yookoso Jitsuryoku Shijoo Shugi no Kyooshitsu e by Shoogo Kinugasa Volume 12. This novel tells the story of the life of a genius student who wants to live a normal life in an elite school. With a guarantee of 100% of graduates to get a job or enter university. Broadly speaking, this novel tells about teenage school life and all the ways to deal with all the abnormal tests there. Yookoso Jitsuryoku Shijoo Shugi no Kyooshitsu e was chosen because it has an interesting storyline, from the mysterious past of the main character to the abnormal competition in order to graduate from the school and how to survive there. The story is also filled with teen romance and school comedy. These stories are expected to attract readers, especially teenagers. In translating the Yookoso Jitsuryoku Shijoo Shugi no Kyooshitsu e Light Novel there are several difficulties, one of which is the relation of each conversation and the grammar used in the texts. In the translation process, it is very important to pay attention to the use of language expressions that are easy to understand, especially for teenage readers so that readers feel entertained and understand the story.
