Persepsi Masyarakat Lokal terhadap Keberadaan Akomodasi Pariwisata di Kelurahan Sosromenduran, Yogyakarta

Persepsi masyarakat merupakan salah satu hal yang penting pada suatu daerah wisata karena dukungan dari masyarakat merupakan salah satu kunci keberhasilan dalam pembangunan suatu akomodasi pariwisata. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat Kelurahan Sosromenduran terhadap keberadaan akomodasi pariwisata berdasarkan teori Doxey Irritation Index. Di Kelurahan Sosromenduran, Kecamatan Gedongtengen, Kota Yogyakarta, D.I. Yogyakarta, penelitian ini akan mencari nilai mean dari empat tahapan dari teori Doxey Irritation Index, yaitu 'Euphoria', 'Apathy', 'Annoyance', dan 'Antagonism'. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menyebar kuesioner secara door to door kepada 100 responden di daerah Kelurahan Sosromenduran. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi masyarakat Kelurahan Sosromenduran terhadap keberadaan akomodasi pariwisata di daerah mereka pada saat ini berada pada tahap 'Euphoria' dengan mean 3,78 yang berarti secara umum masyarakat Kelurahan Sosromenduran masih menyambut baik keberadaan akomodasi pariwisata di daerah mereka.

Local resident's perception is one of the important things in a tourist area because support from the local residents is one of the key in the development of a tourism accommodation. The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of the people of Sosromenduran Village on the existence of tourism accommodation based on the Doxey Irritation Index theory. In Sosromenduran Village, Gedongtengen District, Yogyakarta City, this research will look for 'mean' values from the four stages of the Doxey Irritation Index, namely 'Euphoria', 'Apathy', 'Annoyance', and 'Antagonism'. Data collection of this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires door to door to 100 respondents in the Sosromenduran Village Area. The result of this study indicates that the perception of the Sosromenduran Village's local residents towards tourism accommodation in their area is curently at the 'Euphoria' stage with a mean of 3,78 which means that local residents in Sosromenduran Village still welcome the existence of tourism accomodation in their area.
